After reading about some utter loser ODing on diarrhea meds, doing a rotisserie chicken impression in a hot car, ordering pianos and waking up in the hospital, or shitting their pants on the way to the UPS store because they can’t wait for their next fix, I’ve determined that drugs aren’t cool and most addicts are pathetic and colossal faggots.

D.A.R.E. could be easily replaced by getting middle schoolers to read one of those threads.

Really long fucking post ahead with images. I didn't mean for this to happen. The tl:dr is: was SA sold as has been said? Is there proof somewhere? Will Lowtax get banned by auction as Jeff promised back in Oct? And we close out with goons tinfoiling.

This should be in the SA Thread, but it started kind of focused on Lowtax then involved the forums as a whole, not sure how to move all of this (with the images) to that thread.

So... has the site even been sold? Have owners names been changed and funds diverted somewhere else? I can't find anything anywhere saying that SA doesn't belong to Lowtax.

I think maybe I forgot something because all I remember from following this and the SA thread is that Jeff YOSPOS and Lowtax said it's done. A post on SA Forums from Jeff and on Facebook from Lowtax.

Where is there some kind of proof? I would think the goons would want proof. Is the whole "transfer" still a work in progress?

In this thread we were watching this site for a bit; is it supposed to have changed?

Seems the only way goons believe Lowtax doesn't make money from the site is the fact that he would fuck it up and brag about it. Fair point but I still don't think there's been proof of anything actually happening? Anything anyone has to go on was SA Announcements saying "it's getting sold, no really, lawyers wrote paperwork, it's been sold, no really."

Where do we stand on all this? It's been a fun ride, but I'm genuinely curious if Lowtax actually sold it. If it was all smoke, nothings changed. He never went to his site anyway so why would he care? He can shit on it openly, still take the money, and now play the pity card of "they took my job, stupid crazy bitches that I never abused!"

Jeff and Lowtax both announced the deal was done. Lowtax hasn't been on SA since then, only on facebook (except for recently because he ate a 30 day suspension).

IIRC, Jeff said, or heavily implied, he'd created a new LLC (god I hope it was an LLC) and SA assets were transferred to it, but not the LLC itself: I suspect Jeffo didn't want to immediately dox himself. While it probably won't take too much work to unravel the new LLC and trace it back to him, I would guess he's banking on the fact no one gives enough of a shit to put in the effort.

I would imagine the deal went through. My speculation is also that Lowtax didn't sell for a fixed price, but a wad of cash and then some sort of silent minority stake in the new LLC.

The delay on permabanning lowtax's account is that doing so is likely to implode the forums. Load bearing buttons.
