I like to take a moment to remind the kv lurkers that this is evidence and this is what you do when you find out these things. Not wait 20+ years and pretend that stories are absolute truth. Funny how everyone can get actual evidence to back their claims but no one can get anything about Vic. On a side note, at the rate this industry is going, we might as well get the fbi to thoroughly investigate everyone working cause that might make things easier in the long run.

The "hair pull" isn't even all that important. Even if Vic did admit to actually pulling her hair, Jamie's story describes battery, like wrenching her head back, restraining her movement, and doing so for long enough that she had to force her way out of Vic's grasp.

I don't think she realizes her embellishments changes the story from an awkward nothingburger into simple assault.

To the contrary, that's exactly what she wanted to do. She knew it was absolute nothing and that she had to exaggerate it to make Vic look like a rapist. That was the whole point of making up that lie.

I'm of two minds on that.

On one hand, your position, embellish the story to make it extra damaging.

But on the other hand, if she had limited the details to an awkward yoink, she could pile one more bad touch story onto the sea of defamation while not giving Vic an easy defamation per se claim.

Then again, I'm applying rational thought to Jamie Marchi, which is probably a mistake.

Wouldn't make a difference honestly. Not only are they unable to read properly, but their comprehension is also abysmal. Add in all the goalpost moving and that sums them up well. It either goes: "He forcibly tugged/pulled/yoinked/etc her hair he admitted to it!" or "He admitted that he touched her hair, doesn't matter if he did what she said or not, he admitted to touching it and that makes him a guilty monster!" Best you can do is tell them how wrong they are, and laugh at all the stupidity and mental gymnastics they throw your way.
