I get that this is probably a long distance relationship going on, but is pupp - and I will assume a man - finding out just now? This should have been made available to pupp no longer than a day after his death. Like at least reach out to his family or close friends. That tells me that they were not that close and probably went weeks without real interaction.
Oh and it wouldn't be complete without him demanding on Twitter to "WEAR YOUR FUCKING MASK" and shaming us for not looking like a Muslim woman at all times. Because of course getting an easily caught disease that just happens to be slightly shittier than the flu is like giving someone an incurable STD. Combined with being a Nintendo consoomer - the worst kind -, cringeworthy art, the laughable "they/them" pronouns, and being part of the furry fandom and you have a judgmental asshole that is amplified by the echo chamber that is Twitter.

Agreed. I tried going into a Subway a few days ago and got told "do you have a mask?" I lied and said no, I actually had my mask in my back pocket because I have to wear it to work to not get fired (or at least I presume) so I could have put it on. But fuck the idea of wearing a mask just to order mediocre sandwiches. Fortunately, there are restaurants that are not assholes about requiring masks and if I don't find they support Nigger Lives Don't Matter, they have my business.

Same here. I'm pretty introverted and all, but I really miss going out on dates with girls at fancy sushi restaurants, so now I'm pretty much cockblocked from this whole ordeal. All of the outdoor seating in my town just looks so infuriating and dystopian. I see couples trying to remain normal by eating on tables outside under canopies, but they wear masks and have to deal with loud cars driving by or negroes randomly sitting on the outdoor tables blasting shitty rap and smoking cigarettes. The Mexican waiters just seem miserable the whole time too. Everything is just so depressing.

Every month that this goes on it gets better and better. I'm not a COVID denier, I think it's real and I feel for anyone who has been affected by this and especially those that have lost a loved one because of this virus. It's hilarious how unprepared the United States was for a pandemic. Cuomo and Newsom are hilarious, completely lost with this. It goes to show you that politicians are just as dumb as we are.
My overarching hope for this is that the WHO and the UN get exposed for what they are, fraudulent organizations that do nothing to help us. I think there are smart doctors at the WHO and good people at the UN, I really do. With that being said, the entire existence of those organizations are not natural. We would start getting somewhere if the socialist idiots in America realized that. The "muh science" stuff is so funny, these are the same people who in March said masks won't help us stop the spread.
I'm mad and yelling in any direction but I've had enough of this. The virus won't kill our society, we're far too advanced for that. It's idiots acting like this is the end of society that will kill us. The reality is we all have a day that we go. Stop making me not live my life over it.

- Someone I know who had covid now only eats bowls of rice and quinoa. Says food doesn't take like anything anymore. Wth?
- My preteen, super atheletic, extrovert, only child cousin became depressed and started acting out. His parents moved them and the family down to their Florida beach house until this shit ends, if it does. I cannot believe these lockdowns aren't considered blatant child abuse. Yep, let's just keep all only children isolated, never interacting with anyone their own age. Great idea, folx. It will be crazy in 10-15 years to see how this all effects their brains long term.

I am positive people have more stories of the destruction the lockdowns have brought, rather than from the covid itself. One of my coworkers and his mother were kept out of a hospital room by orderlies while his grandfather was dying of cancer. As for me, my cousin OD'd this summer, and a childhood friend committed suicide. He had rebuilt after the '08 crash, just to lose it all again for good when our governor shut everything back down in the fall.

Also, can I tag @Otterly with a medical question? It's a totally wild hypothesis by a lay person but I want to hear how it sounds. So we're now being told that the vaccine may not stop you getting it and may not stop you transmitting it but will help mitigate the symptoms 70% of the time. I don't think they really know but anyway, if that is how it works doesn't that remove one of the main evolutionary pressures for the virus to become less lethal over time which viruses normally do? Doesn't this create a situation where the virus remains / becomes more deadly than otherwise for any non-vaccinated people?
