diabetes may be a disability as far as people who have it need to live their lives a little differently than others, and complications from it can prove debilitating. but it is not a crippling condition that ends the livelihoods of those who have it, the way Lou wants to think it is. Lou is carrying on like he was just diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and has days to live.
I wonder though, if we'll be hearing more of his "I was planning to die soon anyway" moping now that he has what could turn out to be a life threatening condition. it certainly will kill him if he continues ignoring the changes he is supposed to make to his lifestyle; but somehow I think his tune will change from "I was planning to die anyway" to "well, I may end up dying from my diabetes just like you transphobes always wanted!"

This is the most Olympic gold medal level of mental gymnastics I have ever seen in my life. Nobody in the house is blaming him. He's enclosed in a separate room in his little Lou cave so there is NO way his fans could affect his stepfather. And yet he still uses an incident in the house in no way connected to him to try and get his little emotional asspats.

I’m mainly a lurker but felt compelled to tell a quick story:
Someone close to me nearly died from undiagnosed type 2 diabetes in august. He was in the ICU for a month intubated and sedated, then a month in a nursing facility. The man got out of there and as soon as he was home, he started taking walks, and bought a new Harley. Said Harley crushed his toe when he dropped it, and had to have it amputated 2 weeks ago. Within days, he was on his feet and riding his bike again. Not to mention, he’s survived a stroke and congestive heart failure. Lardo’s not fucking disabled. Retarded, yes, but not fucking disabled.

(I understand if I get hats for this)

Lou huffpuffing like he's always struggled with diabetes or being discriminated against for being 'disabled' is hilarious. I member saying Lou would willingly sabotage himself because there's no greater grift to a loser like him to become chronically sick or crippled.

Even if he really was too afraid to get his foot crater checked out, I'd bet good whiskey a reason he left it so long was the hope it would cause something extremely serious to grift from long-term. I'm sure his condition was stabilized during the hospital stay, but he'll never manage his diabetes whatsoever. Eventually his kidneys may fail, and we will still watch him screeching about trans women needing kidneys the most and please send money for a new electronic and three chargers to use during dialysis.

The thing about a lot of disabling conditions, especially the chronic ones, is that they’re tolerance based. A munchie screeching about their <insert chronic condition here> and how they can’t do anything because of it sounds an awful lot like Lou trying to overhype his diabetes diagnosis in order to grift more. Every person I’ve met with a chronic condition or disability goes about their daily life as normally as possible, until they can’t.

I’m not going to be surprised if Lou goes full tilt into a Munchie saga.

Diabetes isn't a disability but he is temporarily disabled. He loses all sympathy due to his refusal to treat his foot hole properly though. This is a temporary (key word there, the foot is healing) disability. I expect he was also sick, prompting him to go to the hospital in the first place but that was weeks ago and no longer applies.

In short I would say he is in fact disabled, but does not have a disability because his foot will heal. And echoing the comments of others, bed bound my ass. Probably shouldn't go far, and of course he ought to be careful of his foot. But he is capable of walking, and walking will not hinder his progress, so he is not bed bound and in fact it is dangerous not to walk.

Also diabetes isn't the disability, the injury to his foot is. It started as glass or something in his foot, with diabetes and his own neglect making it what it is now.

And of course now he is refusing to treat his diabetes. Taking insulin is not enough, I believe the problem in type 2 isn't that there's not enough but that the body can't use it as effectively. Lifestyle changes are the treatment. Look up low carb diets Lou, tell us if you see spaghetti listed on them.

It's cheap spaghetti sauce but getting it off amazon prime jacks the price way up for a lot of goods like that. They have a separate grocery service that sells the groceries at normal prices.

Once again Lou just throws money in the trash.
Huh, interesting. But seriously, $15 still?

In my part of the world, they really are pushing the grocery delivery idea. I think there's a modest fee, if there is one at all, and seems quite useful.

The only reason I'm this curious is because it'd be fascinating to see how much Lou tax is a part of that final figure.

Next week: yinz guyz I need $399 to buy another chromebook that comes with admin privileges, sorry, I mean to buy one 6 pack of 2 minute noodles. And bus fare. And gallons of coke for my insatiable diabetic thirst. And more as a buffer.

Actually, just give my bank details to your employer, so I can get everything, and then laugh at you because you don't make me enough money.

Also, no, diabetes does not prevent you from working. It can be very easily managed, sometimes to the point where you forget you even have it. It's stunningly easy to prevent its progression with very minor lifestyle changes, even by the standards of Chris Chan (im sure if the bus timetable chsnged, lou would complain about it for weeks).

It is also one of the few chronic conditions out there that is entirely curable (type 2, anyway. Type 1 diabetes is genetic, and afaik does not have a cure, but again, it can be managed to a point where it really isn't a hindrance on every day life at all).

To be fair, I checked last night and Prime Now does not deliver to his area. However, there are a few other grocery stores, including Aldi and his beloved Walmart that DO. So... maybe be a smart consoomer with half a brain and spend you money accordingly?
:optimistic:
If lou had said he needed to buy 20 cans of spaghetti source, id have absolutely believed it. 20 cans should be enough for 2 days, surely.

Or at least 2 hours. Gotta get the energy to scream at people and beg for money somewhere, I guess.

Oh, damn. I was gonna have a read of the goings on while I sat down to have a dinner that I didn't scam off strangers. Guess I'll just have to wait till bedtime.

While I'm thinking about it, though, the very first tweet after the prior DFE was marked as inappropriate and removed. Id fucking love to know what it was.

Edit: I was able to load a handful of tweets just now.

I find it interesting how lou hasn't apologised for scamming people for thousands, probably tens of thousands.

Lou; nobody wants you dead. We just want you to grow a conscience, that's it. Stop scamming people, stop suicide baiting, and stop living beyond your means. Most people would kill to be in the position you are in. No rent, no bills, no adult responsibility or commitments.

And yet its never enough for you. You have probably the least stressful life of anyone I know about. We all feel pain differently, sure, I get that.

Personally I wouldn't care if you just subsisted off disability and didn't beg for more. I don't think anyone would. But you scam people left, right, and centre, every day of your life, and you have the cheek to bite the hand that tries to feed you, every single time.

Every time I go away, do real life stuff, and come back, somehow you've managed to make things worse for yourself. I don't know how that's even possible.

If you want the big bad kiwis to go away, its real simple. Grow a conscience and stop scamming people and suicide baiting them into giving money to you.

If you were really 'permanently gone', Lou, you would deactivate your account. Not just have a hissy fit over god knows what and wipe it clean.

We know you, Lou. We know who you are. You'll never be clean.
That's a very good point.

It makes me think of this, even if I am probably very late with this one.

Holy fuck, didn't someone here just jokingly say something about grifting for a Chromebook with admin privileges? :story:

He's obviously having a hissy fit because no one has given him money in the past few days and he hopefully didn't get his stimulus money after Momma Gags happily announcing hers. The DFE and claiming everyone hates him (true fax) is all part of the guilt trip on his simps. He'll be back, probably before the day is over given how quickly he's been cycling lately.

Goddamnit Lou, is doing a DFE part of your bedtime ritual, before sleeping on your piles of Laptops and Tablets?

"Just gotta suicide bait to get my followers worried while I sleep, once I wake up I can get back to work begging!"

We all know you'll be back, the only people you're fooling are your sympathy orbiters, but I guess even they're tired of your shit at this point, as by how little you're pulling in, even -with- your beetus being the main grift.

What a Trainwreck, I love it!
