It must be a combination of whatever filter he's using reacting poorly with his naturally born crazy eyes and that retard makeup job. The eyes and eye sockets look like they're not part of his skull and the whites of the eyes are unnaturally white. He's uncomfortable to watch on a deep visceral level.
