I definitely think she exaggerated things a bit from her past. But I also think people undersell just how easy it is to find yourself in crazy, and even sexual, situations when you're younger. Yeah, as you said, it's not a popular perspective, but I, too, have a hard time imagining a teenager with an unstable family life and an above average need for pointless, self-destructive defiance not ending up in some shit. Having said that, I also think Chantal is virtually incapable of retelling life stories, especially ones no one could ever possibly verify independently, without turning them into deleted scenes from Road Trip or American Pie, because those are the movies she enjoyed when she stopped progressing mentally. Every sexual encounter always has to have some gross-out comedic point to it, and barely any story ever revolves around how she felt in the situation; it's always like she's recounting something she watched as opposed to something she actually lived.

Yeah, that's fair enough. It's just something that strikes me as odd when even her more outlandish stories, like the one about the guy who cried for his mommy in bed, or the one about Sloppy Joe (which I'm sure everyone agrees was not an "exaggeration", but 100% fantasy), involve no mention of her emotional state at the time whatsoever.

(Also, pretty sure she is wet for Tom Skerritt and Brad Renfro).

I would be surprised if she has had actual sex more than 100 times in her entire life.

From life-long, personal experience I know that Narcs are prone to a thing called "embellishment", when you make your past more interesting than it actually was. They are also known for appropriating the memories/stories of other people and implementing them into their own life-stories. They do this naturally and constantly, up to the the point that they actually believe it. The accomplishments of other people become their own and most narcs will be very bewildered/angry when you accuse them of said embellishment/lying. Narcs are sad and pathetic and if they weren't so fucking toxic you could nearly pity them.

Chinny is embellishing/lying and might not even be aware of it. She 100% believes most of the shit she says because you know, imagining it is as good as doing it in her book. Narcs have no identity of their own, so they (must) fill the hole in their soul with fantasies and other people's identities because no human can exists without an identity. They are like a mirror and a mirror can only reflect light, but not the actual person you see. It has no depth.
