As with American policing, 230 needs a massive reform to adjust with the evergrowing demands that social media brings. Unfortunately, people don't want to meet in the middle. It's one extreme or another.

Outright appealing it would be worse than leaving it be. There's plenty of opportunity to sit and negotiate about what can be changed with 230 so that Facebook and Twitter can be held accountable without sacrificing smaller websites like this.

Arguing for a repeal of 230 is straight up retarded, Trump is a retard for it, and Null did nothing wrong.

It would basically kill the internet, but more to the point the obvious solution is strict definition and enforcement of the whole publisher clause. I'd be willing to buy that it's all Trump 4D chess if he had given it a week of outrage then shifted to that position, but it's all just "REPEAL 230 FUCK TWITTER IN THE ASS".

He's been stymied by the media and everyone else, for sure, but he's done nothing about any of this and now he's paying the price. His current situation must be stressful, but since the election frankly he's just been non-stop chimping out and it's tragic to see.

The problem with complaining about 230 is that the Internet is dying even with it remaining as is.

You can totally say that they could just enforce 230 properly, but then you'd be relying on judges to do the right thing when cases are brought before them. I hope that with this year I do not need to point out how breathtakingly naive that is.

Nothing can or will be done. The current state of the Internet is absolutely perfect for the big business class as it is, there is no real incentive for anyone in the legislature to change it.

According to NBC News, Trump has now embraced "Conspiracy Theories" about the election.

In call to Georgia's secretary of state, Trump pushed QAnon and 4chan-created conspiracy theories (msn.com)

One of the so called "Conspiracy Theory" is about the Dominion Voting System. Which anyone who knows anything about Venezuela Hugo Chávez, is that the was Presient of Venezuela for 11 fucking years straight! Seriously he was the third longest President in Venezuelan History. But the difference is that Antonio Guzman Blanco and Juan Vicente Gomez, the second longest and longest president in Venezuelan History, at least had gaps in their terms. Hugo had no gaps. But this is coming from a country that has no term limits, and most of the presidents usually died in office, if not, were kicked out.

But Hugo Chavez created the Dominion Voting System and it was rigged so that he could win every election. But the question that people should be asking, that the media should be focus on is, why the hell are we using outside systems for our own elections!?

But according to mainstream media that Dominion thing is a hoax and a "Conspiracy Theory" that has "no evidence."

FYI: I had to look up the list of Venezuelan Presidents. Like hell, I knew who any of them fucking were.
