But hey, what about the poor folks who have a problem with the word "content"? Maybe some people remember the "mature content" phrase when they hear "content" which may result in flashbacks from the time they were accidentally exposed to mature content. We wouldn't want those people getting trigge - getting upset.

1.-Recognize context and that white privilage just can get you so far.
2.-Educate self on estructural racism... like really, take a look to another parts of the world and that discrimination is more insidius and complicated than a "white people" joke.
3.- Amplify interesting and smart voices and just no the ones of your shitty friends or yourself. Sure, give minorities a greater chance, no just their "socially conscius" white friends.
4;- Listen and discuss. Shuting up someone that is sincere about his doubts or they desire to learn will not help anybody, it will just make you look like an asshole.

"Content warning" is also triggering because it implies that there is something worth warning me about. It could be anything and that scares me. I'm having a panic attack just thinking of what could be in that content that warrants a warning. But if they told me what was in the content warning then I'd think about it anyway and get triggered. I'm starting to think the only way to avoid anxiety or getting scared is to stop thinking entirely.

We've come full circle.

Content warnings have been around for decades for movies and video games. They come in front of programs on TV and in front of trailers. Trigger warnings were just invented so Tumblr babies could feel even more special. But now that we've gone back to "Content Warning" .

All that crying, all those thousands of words demanding trigger warnings in front of films and shows... undone! The SJWs have worked tirelessly for years to accomplish....NOTHING.
Except for maybe getting Sweden to bow to their whims but screw Sweden. It's barely been a real country since Gustavus Adolfus died.

I also like how only black people's voices matter. I guess every other non-white race out there either doesn't exist or hasn't suffered from TRUE and HONEST racism.

Would this person know that cancer is gained by means other than getting too much sun? Last I heard, one could get cancer by eating foods microwaved in a plastic container (a college peer mentioned her mother getting breast cancer from microwaving oatmeal in a plastic cup).

There were a number of things that surprised me in my initial research. I knew something about our nation's early antipathy toward Catholics and Italians, but I had not fully appreciated the depth of that antagonism. For example, the largest mass lynching in U.S. history took place in New Orleans in 1891 — and it wasn't African-Americans who were lynched, as many of us might assume. It was Italian-Americans.

After nine Italians were tried and found not guilty of murdering New Orleans Police Chief David Hennessy, a mob dragged them from the jail, along with two other Italians being held on unrelated charges, and lynched them all. The lynchings were followed by mass arrests of Italian immigrants throughout New Orleans, and waves of attacks against Italians nationwide.

What was the reaction of our country's leaders to the lynchings? Teddy Roosevelt, not yet president, famously said they were "a rather good thing." The response in The New York Times was worse. A March 16, 1891, editorial referred to the victims of the lynchings as "... sneaking and cowardly Sicilians, the descendants of bandits and assassins." An editorial the next day argued that: "Lynch law was the only course open to the people of New Orleans. ..."

John Parker, who helped organize the lynch mob, later went on to be governor of Louisiana. In 1911, he said of Italians that they were "just a little worse than the Negro, being if anything filthier in [their] habits, lawless, and treacherous."

Believe it or not, more Italians were lynched in New Orleans than black people - who were rarely lynched, if at all, there. In some parts of the south Italians had to go to black schools, that's how bad it was.

Don't forget the Polish, the Jews, the Armenians (maybe that last one counts as POC)...
