I'll cut him some slack because Japanese people in general don't know how to handle Western harassment like that. This stupid controversy is probably the largest interaction he's ever had with non-Japanese people, and the "standard" attitude they take when being confronted is to back down and be polite. There are obviously exceptions, not every Japanese person is a saint, but there's a good chance he simply isn't equipped with the mental tools to handle a hate-mob like that.

I personally don’t think her art is that bad. She could actually pitch and sell it to PBS and they’d probably buy her up as an animator for a children’s show. It just needs tighter line work and cleaner shading and I actually see a passable amount of potential. Compared to the Japanese person though it’s like comparing mom’s spaghetti to a five star italian bistro though.

This is one of the reasons i wish the japs didn't interacted with foreigners on the internet. Even if we show appreciation and love for their works, there are chances that a single idiot ruins it all.
