I called this a month ago. Didn't need to read anything. Just makes logical sense: Trump supporters see this as a stolen election, they will remain peaceful until the very last second. If they don't see progress on uncovering election fraud, they WILL storm the capitol on the 6th when the votes are about to be counted.

I'm impressed though. I didn't think they'd make it this far.

He wouldn't be seated as president until the 20th, Trump would still have commander in chief control. DC police also aren't under the purview of the executive

This was literally just a ceremonial event to confirm what we already knew. Back in 1790 it took a while for information to get from Maine to the capitol
