"Our republic"?
this but unironicallySo, um, both sides suck amirite?
Being in a deeply red state, I am completely safeI like how no matter the situation, the proper way to do your part on Twitter is to give money to the right people View attachment 1833850
My main question in all of this is what will happen with republican party in coming years? Cause this event can't be good optics for them and I don't think several trump supporters would even back them anymore.
There were the "revolutions" of 1848, but even then Bismarck made some concessions.Everyone saying this is a one-off thing and won't lead to anything but more censorship has never picked up a history book in their lives.
They left their systems logged in!?It's true.

Again, this is a massive embarrassment for the United States. Expect serious consequences going forward.
Protesting in DC? Forget about it. That's over.
Dear god, please kill yourself. Counter protesting is a thing, and BLM/antifa would never march with someone wearing american flag face pain
I fell for that shit. He's a Q guy.
22 mins ago. I know this was likely posted, but Twitter do seem to be doing something to slow up March for Trump updates, or whoever operates the account is having covefe.

Ah, the good old Swindon Split, I see.A split & death to one of the splits.
Moderates are cowards who deserve all the suffering they get.I don't even think this is that big a deal but I've already got multiple phone calls/messages from people talking about how ridiculous this shit is. Moderates don't like civil unrest.
They can say that all they want everyone's gonna see how much they weren't happy when people came in person to tell them to fuck off. They're not scared at all. This is great fuel for their side and there won't be a single voice allowed to say "this is a peaceful protest of a government building".
No one in that group is going to start killing politicians, burning down building or tossing molotovs. They'll pose for some pictures, get arrested, spend the rest of their lives in jail and democrats will use this to crackdown on all dissenting opinions.
They'll be just like the Democrats again. And Republicans, no matter how unlikable and artificially propped up their candidate is, they'll still vote for them.My main question in all of this is what will happen with republican party in coming years? Cause this event can't be good optics for them and I don't think several trump supporters would even back them anymore.

Reuters literally gave Biden a halo, this is a featured picture in the live news story at BBC
I have to point out that the court stated that unilateral secession is null under the Constitution. The majority held that successful revolution, as a practical matter, was the same thing without the pretense of Constitutionality, or in the alternative, a state could withdraw with the consent of the other states. (Texas v. White, 74 U.S. 700, 726)the funny thing about Texas V White, which is the postwar decision where they decided secession was illegal is that it couldn’t find justification in the consitution, and so had to cite the articles of confederation.
The decision was also a bit tainted because any other outcome would have meant that the states which made up the former confederacy would have had to assume all the CSA’s debt, which was the actual cause of action in question that lead the court to rule on whether the states had ever actually legally seceded
