If they imprisoned, Trump would do do more for his MAGA movement as a prisoner of the System. They'll just say angry stuff (maybe some unsupported impeachment vote to menace a bit) about him and move on.

Law enforcement is well trained for crowd control and breaking protest lines, and protesters - especially on the right wing - are quite simply ignorant of the tactics that will be used against them and how to counter them.

As I have repeatedly said, this is going to be a conflict between poor leaderless masses vs a well funded and experienced political class.
If you disagree, then tell me. Who is the leader of the protesters right now? What is their objective? What companies or donors are going to be supporting them in the coming months? How many soldiers or police are going to defect to their ranks?

Weren't these people laughing at Trump when he was in the bunker during the Floyd riots? Now that people have come to directly protest them though they flee and cry 'TERRORISTS' and don't give a shit that they're ordering their own citizens to get shot for protesting. It's truly, truly despicable and tiring. I don't think we'll ever go back to just being normal again my fellow Burgers.
