Have to agree. If the lockdowns were lifted, enough people would be at work to not be looking at the news. Since they're not (except in hard Republican states), regular people have gotten restless and worried. I'd also add that more Fed gun control will be highest on Biden's agenda. Just because the ATF backed down this one time, doesn't mean they won't try again and again. The result won't be people obeying, but as we see now, people becoming increasingly skeptical of legal avenues at all. Bad for all of us, but at this point, everyone knows the legal system is completely fucked from top to bottom.

Overreaching, modern riots in America are far more tame affairs than what the rest of the world would call a riot. A few buildings burn down some people get hurt maybe a few of them die, but that's pretty much always the extent of it. I don't think there's an American alive today who can remember a time when a riot well and truly destroyed an entire city or destabilized the government.
