Most unlikely to see a prolonged crackdown except for the most die hard cases. Too few cops to do this nevermind the fact that morale is historically low but also and most importantly it would only push somewhat radical but not completely radicalised into the radical camp. OTOH Biden is old and Kamala seems like a tough no nonsence type so its possible. But I can say it now too tough a crackdown will lead to blowback.And it will lead to blowback on the one issue that is genuinely nonnegociable the 2nd amendment since there is a strong dem force that views the 2nd as a problem. There are lots of folks who if they had to choose between fighting with genuine extremists and accepting the 2nd to be gutted would choose the former regardless of risk.OTOH i always felt that the 2nd would eventually cause issues its been a gut feeling of mine for years now. Personally i doubt Joe will do much but if he does its gonna blowback badly. Treating whites in the Midwest and South with the same kind of suspicion that muslims were treated after 9/11 is dangerous even if ironic.

Give him a break it was probably his first time. Its probably not easy for a guy to go the gay way at first after presumably being a hardcore straight dude all his life.But if papa Trump said he must do it well.
