In terms of optics, its better for them to let the protesters run their course and have Trump ask them to leave, then to force them out with violence.
Getting rough on them might make them martyrs (notice how heavily the woman's death is being suppressed), and raise sympathy for them. Letting them take their selfies and dirty up the place just makes them ruffians, not potential victims.

It's probably a better course of action to put the rioters in an area you can fence in while you get the VIPs out then have a running battle with an unknown number of people with unknown weapons. You let them mess around in the open area and make it clear they cannot pass the door leading to the VIPs. Your job isn't to get a high score, it's to keep your VIPs safe.

You can't really first aid someone anymore when the blood from neck wound is both going down their lungs and up their mouth and nose. You can't compress that kind of wound.

At this point I assume anyone under the age of 40 at a protest is chasing social media clout, its the only way I can make sense of the borderline sociopathic behavior of people who record other people bleeding out in front of them like its a baby learning how to walk for the first time.

If he thinks he has a shot in 2024 after 4 years of 'election reforms' and demonizing the republican base he is straight up retarded. The real test will be in 2022 and if they lose seats or fail to gain outside of gop strongholds it should be obvious to everyone.

Republicans back then were seen as more of a joke than a threat. Plus Obama was perfectly happy coasting through his presidency with everyone around him telling him how great he was. Today a bunch of pissed off Republicans broke into Congress to hang Swords of Damocles over the heads of our elected officials and we're already seeing the airline industry trying to ban everyone who "took part in the riot" (whether they were actually there or suspected of being there).
