But I think the next time if people got riled up again, they might be more focused and determined like the woman who was ready to fight with her life.
That's gonna take a long ass time, the whole reason they even got up to march already told them to stop it, and all the supporters in the senate turned against them already the republicans will be literally Hitler and their opposition will mean absolutely nothing for decades to come, if anything is gonna happen itll be in decades after

The GOP thought they could control Trump, so let the old man shitting his feelings into office.

Now they have a massive emboldened populist movement hating both them and the Democrats, armed with more guns than some countries.

Regardless of your feelings of him, he was unhinged and more uncontrolled than any president in recent memory. I doubt we are ever getting another one like him after this shitshow. Maybe we will, who knows.

Welp, I hate to doomerpost, but I think that this shit will be the final nail in the coffin for a free and open internet once Biden gets into office. I guaran-fucking-tee that his administration and the Democrat-controlled chambers of Congress will use this event as an excuse to crack down on social media and push mass censorship onto the American populace (that is, if FaceBook, Twitter, and Google don't already do the former first). If there was ever a time that Section 230 was gonna be definitively revoked, it's this time, because Biden's administration's gonna wanna be able to prosecute websites and hold them liable for what gets posted on them. In which case, we can say goodbye to Kiwi Farms.

Seriously, fuck this crazy upside down world.
Now this is some real shit, but the most likely scenario is that these companies will go full-censorship in exchange for biden dropping the whole antitrust case which was gaining momentum in both sides since anyone with an IQ above a baked potato knows how insanely dangerous is to let these companies have power over so much information

Of course it will come back to bite biden and the dnc in the ass since big tech will also use the information they get to keep collecting to blackmail politicians. Any politician who was in college when facebook started probably uploaded something that could ruin their career, now he's on the zucc's pocket. Add the rest to the list.

Most fun I've had in a long time. I wish politicians had died in Minecraft but other than that it was great.
If it reminded just one journalshit, politician, bureaucrat, glowie, or any other conniving social engineer of their mortality, and that there are people who had enough of their shit.

....then any bad optics will be have been worth it.

The other part of the equation that people often miss is Biden was the big pusher when it came to anti-piracy during the Obama admin. Sure they want to censor people but they also want to crack down on piracy to protect hollywood. Expect more bills like the illegal streaming being a felony and the DOJ being very keen on going after people for piracy. All this in the name of combating hatespeech while allowing corporations to make sure you consume properly.

Ah Bullshit. Platitudes for masses. You really think the combined armed services of the United States or the might of the Washington D.C. arsenal hidden from view was really under any threat from...the combined power of 83 trailer parks?

Give me a fucking break.
tbf They were scared shitless, those pics of them hiding in Congress were very real. It's just not gonna make them back down, instead they'll double down on hunting wignats, boogalooians, and Turner Diaries LARPers.

So you will be voting democrat?

Yeah if there's one thing this has shown me, it's that I was absolutely right to have been a staunch third party voter up until these past few election cycles.
From a post in the locked election thread. I gave the GOP a chance and they blew it like they blow their "opposition".
