Ah Bullshit. Platitudes for masses. You really think the combined armed services of the United States or the might of the Washington D.C. arsenal hidden from view was really under any threat from...the combined power of 83 trailer parks?
They wouldn't stand a chance. Half of them would open fire on the other half that was trying to target civilians.

On a tangent, the Archiving service is taking a long time, of course. My archived link is actually on Queue Slot #3.120 while I am writing this.

Welp, I hate to doomerpost, but I think that this shit will be the final nail in the coffin for a free and open internet once Biden gets into office. I guaran-fucking-tee that his administration and the Democrat-controlled chambers of Congress will use this event as an excuse to crack down on social media and push mass censorship onto the American populace
Were you under the impression that this wasn't going to happen anyway.

They control the House, Senate and Presidency. You're about to see the US's first "Hate Speech" laws come to fruition.

Unconstitutional? Absolutely. Will SCOTUS fight it? How could they? If they did, Harris would just pack the courts.

Pretty much, anyone who thinks Biden years will be communism are delusional. Hell Biden will probably be too chickenshit to even do Medicare for All.

We're going to another shitty "assualt rifle" ban, We'll have more government hand outs, we'll have more COVID lockdowns. And immigration floodgates will open up wide. Beyond that America is gonna stay the same.

At the end of the day Corporations make this country. And corporations ultimately want to just make money off sick people & consoomers. In Google & Amazon we trust.
Obama was a bigger deporter than Trump was by a large margin. A lot of of Dems I imagine are probably not pleased by the sizable segment of Hispanics attracted to populist rhetoric and figures, while they have shifted their identity politics to being almost totally focused on black people. I expect a lot of hamfisted articles from news agencies that give brown people a taste of the medicine they have been giving whites.

Anyone who voted for Trump who continues to vote for the GOP after this past election is brain-dead.
Yep. While this will probably end up being worse for everyone when the GOP ceases to be electorally viable, they really need to politically learn their lesson, and hard. Mass abstention by GOP voters is the only way they'll learn not to ignore their voter base.

That's gonna take a long ass time, the whole reason they even got up to march already told them to stop it, and all the supporters in the senate turned against them already the republicans will be literally Hitler and their opposition will mean absolutely nothing for decades to come, if anything is gonna happen itll be in decades after
Hence the 'if', but a majority already got demonized by their neighbors over 4 years, fired, blacklisted, lacking money, and so on. What else can they lose? They're cornered like rats, hence how this all started.
I don't think further demonizing would stop them, rather would slowly rile back up again.

Regardless of your feelings of him, he was unhinged and more uncontrolled than any president in recent memory. I doubt we are ever getting another one like him after this shitshow. Maybe we will, who knows.
Trump was the most controlled and tethered president in decades.
the only time I can remember Trump "going loose" was when he bombed some of Assad's airfields (this was the only time the US media reacted positively to something Trump did)

No, mass abstention by voters means they'll just blame you for their loss.
Either win in primaries or pound sand.
