She played a lot of fps and reportedly was able to self taught russian to a semi competent level.
Also the three stripes on her outfit is like adidas, and the russian love that (isn't that stereotyping?)

We need more gyarus, in everything. Vtubers, visual novels, weirdly out of character voice packs, there's an entire market there to exploit, closest thing we got now is what, Hoshikawa Sara? Doesn't even tick all the boxes.

By definition hoshikawa is a gyaru. Just not the type that been popularized by medias. And Hoshikawa had enough antis as is right after debut just because of her style. A real gyaru would threaten the purist so much their head will probably imploded and demand her head on a stake devilman style.

First of all, Oga Saki worked more than fine.

While at debut there was a freak out, (apparently, don't know much about that) Sara has built herself a pretty damn big and seemingly pretty damn loyal fanbase, through openly saying she does what she wants, liking porn of herself on Twitter and that whole Matsuri thing people took too seriously. Seems pretty damn successful to me

If there's actual concerns though idk man, make her EN or somethin, I don't care I just want more gyarus.
 
I've been listening to a lot of Shiina ever since someone recommended here on the thread.
I like chuubas who do mostly (if not only) karaoke streams, they are so much easier to follow and listen to when you are working or playing.

It was a combination of her being half british, being friendly, which some seen as overly familiar and disrespectful to her senpais and her design and overall demeanor points to her being a normie. I'm not even kidding, a portion of japanese antis seriously hates her because they felt threatened by her normie aura. Their words, not mine.

In an alternate universe the harassment would net her a 2 week suspension from the company follows by graduation citing mental reason (and luna would finally have that cruise date she thirsted for so long with matsuri), but fortunately she held on strong and her generation as well as the senpais extended a helping hand. Naturally it made the relationship with those in her circle and the hoshikuzu who supported her from the beginning more tight knitted than usual.

As for the liking porn, it was just a nontroversy. Everyone does it and admitted to it. However everyone follows everyone so they normally bookmarked the nsfw stuff, hoshikawa retweeted it and exposed her fetish (and gunkan possible bdsm history) to everyone which makes for a good laugh.

Thanks for the history lesson, I mostly knew her from random videos people send and her collabs with Kanae, never really watched her, which is bad since I really like her Orihimeboshi bros, especially Fumi (both should get more attention).

Might watch her a bit more, still want more gyarus though

Eh, don't like them - don't consume their content. They can be as political as they want, they will only gather the appropriate audience and eventually fade. As long as nobody's getting harmed it should be good, right? I think, I'd draw the line at going outside your circle and bullying others into changing their beliefs to match yours.
