Honestly these last few months sort of makes me understand why some people find the idea of Galt’s Gulch appealing. While I previously dismissed it as being some crackpot fantasy, I see how Ann, for all her kookery, seems to have latched onto something real.

If the Democrats go all-in on their agenda and there are no political pathways out of the US’s long-term spiral (and I don’t see any now on the near horizon), I can honestly see some conservatives washing their hands of this and thinking up their exit strategies, be it from their state or the US. For many others, it’ll be hunkering down and disengaging from politics until the next opportunity presents itself...


The problem is that just like Trump’s 2016 election, the establishment was caught off guard. They’ll do anything and everything to prevent this from happening again.

I guarantee that most normies don't know that this happened ... Because the media didn't report on it. If anything bad happens to a Trump supporter (especially from this point on), the media will either (a) spin the narrative/flat-out lie about it, or (b) bury it completely so that most people don't see it.

Personally, I think that the thing that's going to "break" the normies are the COVID lockdowns, closed schools, loss of income, grocery store lines, etc. That stuff actually personally affects them, and I believe that once these dense people figure out that Biden swooping in to make COVID disappear is not going to happen, these people will finally break and wake the fuck up about what's going on. These people may seem complacent about a "new normal," but that's only been under the promise that we'll return back to normal eventually, and yet the goal posts just seem to keep moving.

I think that there was fraud happening in the GA runoff (because, DUH). However, what ultimately lead to the loss in GA was McConnell fucking the American people over about the stimulus checks-- something that personally affected them. Once normies smell blood in the water in the Biden administration with the same kind of fuckery, that's when I think the fire is going to increase.
