I just got an text from my friend saying people in his job are comparing yesterday to 9/11. Considering his job involves occasional work for the Federal Government, that is probably be the tone they have for the forseeable future.

Also, Deus Ex unironicly predicted all of this.
The game where the right-wing secessionists were the "good guys" opposed to an illegitimate government in Washington, mind you.

It is actually scary how prophetic that game is. Everything down to the core tenets of algorithmic social media playing the role of judgement and surveillance that the gods were said to have in human civilization. And it's only getting more accurate with time.

It's a fucking shame that Sheldon J. Pachetti has just disappeared off the map.

Still relevant after four years:

This is what all protests should be like. Not robbing Wal-Mart, but actually taking shot directly to those involved.
You expect BLM and Antifa to think that far ahead? The Trump supporters had an objective and followed through with it. After BLM and Antifa burned down that police station and forced the police to retreat, then what? Oh, right, let's burn down someone's business and the local Target while beating the shit out of random people and blocking the road, and get pissy when you get your ass runned over.

i have a question for american kiwis: is your president's word gospel? to clarify, if your president says something, do you take it immediately at face value or do you question it? let me know, as i'd like to start a discussion on this that isn't just ''TRUMP BAD BIDEN GOOD'' vs ''BIDEN BAD TRUMP GOOD''.

do you think this will turn out to be a civil war, or just be a one off thing?
No and it shouldn't be. His heart is ultimately in the right place, but he's brazen for your average joe. He will probably start grifting for his 'true and honest' followers but I couldn't care less. I will say this: his words did inspire people to occupy DC(the irony), and frankly we should have more bullish people to put fear into these politicians and work to fix the system and not exploit it.

I don't think it will start a Civil War though, give that at least 10 more years.

Agreed. Plenty of whisky, couple of livestreams, the Farms. Man was it nice. America is my favorite anime and the writers triumphed yesterday. I hope it's not all filler material from now on.
Well the Trump Arc is nearing it's end so my guess is that this is the last hurrah before the season finale. Let's hope the Biden Arc can be equally as wild.

So when BLM and AntiFa spent an entire summer burning down peoples' livelihoods, and assaulting and murdering people, which was in the name of criminal thugs who died while resisting arrest, the MSN told us the aforementioned were "peaceful protests."

Now I don't think yesterday's events were the best move for Trump supporters, they've effectively given the MSM and leftards what they wanted, but I don't see why it should be classed as domestic terrorism?

Maybe so for the black people directly involved in police fuckery, but siding with an organization that literally wants all of white people and it's existence through history and governance to be wiped out is very cucked, though looking at your pfp you might have coom in the brain ruining your decisions making.
I think they are misguided and easily whipped into a frenzy by emotions and politicians are making useful idiots out of them.
BLM was originally about changing the laws that effected black people
Then they got subverted
Now its about kill whitey and racism and shit

There will always be racial tension, but I think even they can understand "Enemy of my enemy"
Also many things that would benefit them benefit everyone. Police shouldn't have limitless power and aren't your friends.

The alternative is we all fight each other while the government that caused the problem laughs

They are openly calling for the heads/jobs of anyone with any sort of right leaning viewpoints now on the major news networks and CSPAN. They literally just had someone on saying they should arrest everyone who is registered Republican.

The crackdown is going to be unreal. I hate to say it but it's looking like it'll be even worse than the social justice purges of the 2010's.

This, "you must agree with me, any dissent is sedition/insurrection" is a fucking dangerous path to go down.
Let's be honest here - it was already like this.

Every tenet of public life in the West is suffused with a left-wing fog. We had hundreds of "medical professionals" personally sign an endorsement of "peaceful protesting" amid coof panic. I mean, think about it. Our objective scientists made it seem like screaming for a particular set of slogans would fend off the virus. And yes, speds, I know that's not what they literally said, but the lowest implication was that the alleged grievances there were "worth it".
