Last night I saw that apparently he was borderline enthusiastic as his fans trashed the Capitol because it meant they were derailing the certification.

Depending on how sympathetic the prosecutors handling this case are (or how much Biden really believes his “forward, not backward” horseshit), this might be the stiffest charge any of them face. Minor things, ending in plea bargains and probation. Getting off really easy when there’s all the trespassing on federal property, attempt to obstruct an election, yadda yadda. The mobbers could have the book thrown at them, but it doesn’t seem very likely to me.

It also wouldn’t surprise me if they’re holding off on charging/arresting anyone until after Trump is no longer president. 100% guarantee he’d pardon all of them, though he could technically pre-pardon everyone (which also wouldn’t surprise me).

To me it seems like neo-con and moderate GOP members were all just given a "get out of jail free" card, with the jail being being forced to have to pander to Trump's base for (re)election. Between their rush on the Capitol Building, followed by their haphazard loitering when they got in, and the pipe bombs left to detonate at an RNC building, they generated enough evidence against themselves yesterday to make denouncing them a GOP career booster again.
This is ignoring the twitter glowposts some faction put out last night claiming they're going to pull some more shit on Sunday. Please continue to fuck around.
