It was only “easy” because the Capitol Police are a bunch of coddled mallcops.

After this the Congress and other important agencies will get real security, if protests/rallies are allowed in DC at all you’ll see riot cops on standby right away, and the Congressional building itself will be massively reinforced.

I don't even know why you bring up Luther or Calvin since literally none of their opinions about the Church are right, except the fact that it was corrupt. But even Erasmus pointed that out ans had more reasonable solutions than "try to found my own church so I can gain political influence with princes".
