Trashfire Apollo Legend suicide

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
How does speedrunning attract so many unstable (not sure if that's the right term) individuals? Honestly feel like it could have its own sub forum alongside the FGC.
Because it takes a shit ton of time to learn, and a ton of time spent practicing and doing the runs. Anyone can do a speedrun of a game they love and have spent a ton of time with, but picking up a new game to speedrun or learning the ins and outs of complex time-saving glitches takes a ton of time dedication. There's no wonder why most 'career' speedrunners have no jobs and live off of welfare.

Mechanically simple games generally have much less retarded speedrunning fanbases, as well. The Halo games are a great example- a huge chunk of being able to speedrun Halo is just being good at the game in the first place.

I think I made it clear on another thread that while I can accept speedrunners for what they are, what brings my piss to a boil is when they act like they are God's gifts for doing something the fastests. They are not even having fun, its just a competition and some people lack the mental estability to balance out these things to not turn it into an obssession, which these pricks surely have.

It's interesting to contrast the speedrunners with e-sports people. You have the same sort of obsessiveness and austistic single-mindedness, but there's vastly more money in the e-sports scenes, so a high-tier e-sports person is more likely to do it professionally, unlike the speedrunner. E-sports also have teams that could pay for professional tard-wanglers who keep their players stupidity in check if need be. See the difference between real Hollywood celebrities and YouTube e-celebs.

I second this, I personally know a guy who speedruns Bloodborne and Dark Souls and he is a fit bearded man with a wife, a kid and a good hairline.

Yeah, see what I mean? Dark souls speedrunning is in large part being good at the game, and not constant complex glitch or skip after complex glitch or skip.

It’s ironic that in the community that Pride s itself in going fast that’s so many of its members are slow in the mind

Just wanted to say RIP Apollo, you were an alright guy, and RWhitegoose did nothing wrong. I seen some of DarkViper's streams and highlights and he's a boring idiot that drops random shit leftist takes with a smug tone. Fuck GDQ and EZscape for their tranny bullshit too, and never forget:

"Speedrunning is the most degenerate act man has ever come up with" -RWhitegoose

Anybody got an archive of the original 7:01 long Karl Dam 52 video? He trimmed it down to 5:45 to remove flatwife patting him.

When he realizes that getting a WR its about to feel good about himself, that's where he shows the lack of self-confidense and self-respect he posses lmao! old but good i guess :P

also i'm amazed that he still get revenue from patreon and youtube i mean who would give money to this guy?!

but anyways back on Apollo's matter how long until his brother or possibly a close friend give out an statement of what happened during his suicide?

Few weeks and there still hasn't been actual confirmation of this. Has anyone searched for an obituary yet?

I don't doubt he tried but he could have been hospitalized and then held in psych for a couple weeks. Or still in a fucking coma or something. I've been so curious but everything about this just died down.

Yeah I'm still pretty skeptical.

Anyway EZscape is back from his hiatus and for some reason he's deleting comments congratulating him on being back in form and killing again

The fact he got the balls to not delete his video of the fall of apollo legend and instead putting it unlisted it does says a lot about how he did a backstab on the dude.

Just in case it gets deleted and archived

I already took care of the archiving back on page 14. It's compressed to hell and back, but it's there.

Here's a higher quality version so that you can actually read the text. Thanks to @Smaug's Smokey Hole for providing it.
