Jail for what exactly?
The guy got probed by the feds several times and nothing came out of it
Prosecuting a sitting president is virtually impossible and a quagmire. The DOJ almost certainly cannot do it federally, and the states doing so would trigger a constitutional crisis. The FBI findings would not have criminally prosecuted him; they would have been used as a justification to impeach and remove him (and thereafter perhaps try him, though Pence would have probably pardoned).

So instead, you save your evidence and accusations for once they leave the office and no longer enjoy its protections. If he's guilty of state crimes, he's SOL. It's why people believe the SDNY has some shit on him - they would obviously wait for this.
You know there has to be a trial after articles of impeachment, right?
A hearing, you mean. A few different hearings, one for the house and one for the senate. Do you remember Trump's testimony at his original Impeachment proceedings?

Right, he didn't give any. It doesn't matter. His office tried to stop admin officials from testifying, and they defied his requests.
They aren't going to retread the shit he was tried for before (though they could, since double jeopardy doesn't apply to political processes like impeachment); they're gonna use this shit from Nov. 3rd onwards.
If Mitch gets enough GOP votes in the senate, then 13 days is way way more time than you need.

It's no big loss either. Nobody in government has any viable path to addressing this unrest in a meaningful way. What are they going to do? Censor more internet posts? Ban Trump from tumblr?

This is what has them scared shitless right now. This is why Coca Cola and JP Morgan are losing their fucking minds.

There's really no path forward.
Apparently their gameplan is to push Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley out of the Senate. Because that won't stir up more shit!

So... do you want an uprising, or a new party? Because I assure you, while the GOP aren't exactly popular by any stretch, you haven't a snowball's chance in hell of accomplishing anything except making a Ross Perot situation this way.

Trump was functionally a "Ross Perot", and I have no trouble believing that the NeoCon/NeoLib duopoly is capable of engineering what we saw in this election, or that hundreds of separate virulently anti-Trump individuals acted independently to add or subtract votes during counting, so they could remove the guy that was a complete outsider to their carefully curated system, and that they couldn't control. I don't have any evidence that they did anything, but I can believe they could have.

No. You’ll be raped in the ass by a lame version of cyberpunk and like it.
Aww, I wanted to see Boomers removing boomers.

Into Null You Thrust.
Is Null end void? Not for long!

Lazy. That doesn't work in this context. MAGA people aren't begging for refunds like the college kids that Bernie swindled then taunted them by literally saying 'no refunds'. Lazy! It should be the opposite, like Trump trying to continue the grift: Trump 2030! Now taking donations! then redhats raining cash on him. Lazy!

This is not a good look for him even if I agree with your main point.
There will never be 'a good look for him' reflected in propaganda from WAPO et al., unless he's murdering thousands in the middle east.

How convenient that this statement was released. Is there any evidence of this actually being put together, or is this just a CYA situation?
Republicans weren't going to do shit. That claims is 100% bullshit. "Its trumps fault we're not going to investigate fraud!" I would hope no one could be naive enough to believe that.

I imagine her voice must be quite nasal.

Pence literally said no and they're not even meeting tomorrow. Just wait 2 fucking weeks and the nigger will be gone from office (only to be replaced by someone who is not only as incompetent by nature, but literally a dementia patient. Plus, his diversity hire VP).

This whole shitshow is no major win. If they wanted to show there was a large scale mistrust, protesting on the steps would have sufficed. By making their way into the building, attempting to set off bombs (or giving cover to glowies who did) and sporting the worst OPSEC in history, all these protesters have done is piss off the government.

This will backfire in the long run, and lead to more draconian censorship and crackdowns on personal freedoms. Those clamoring this will cause government to fear its citizens seem to forget the multitude of promises that THIS TIME things would be fixed, and also forget fear has been used to justify the slow nullification of our country.

They held back, didnt destroy anything, and are still going to be arrested, have their lives destroyed, be labeled as violent traitors to the nation, ece. All the "I'm proud we accomplished something" and " the government will surely fear part of the public now" is a near leathal dose of copium making up for the right yet-a-fucking-gen cucking out once faced with lethal action, and failing to accomplish much of anything while torpedoing any discussion over the election and politics in general.

I've heard only two people speak of this event, the first being a group of black women who were stunned that something like this occurred without destruction, and the local coworker politisperg who everyone hates anyway.

Wrong decade. The 1920s were the booming decade, the depression was the 1930s.
>If they wanted to show there was a large scale mistrust, protesting on the steps would have sufficed.
When has this worked for whites in the past 100+ years?
>By making their way into the building, attempting to set off bombs (or giving cover to glowies who did) and sporting the worst OPSEC in history, all these protesters have done is piss off the government.
Glowies most likely did it, but even if they didn't do it, why would people not resort to violence for the sake of optics, if they're going to get false flagged and blamed anyway?

All of this shit has been happening already and will continue to happen even if everyone were to just stay home drinking beer.

Granted, I think a president who didn't deliver is a stupid hill to die on, but it's a lot better than center righties doing what they normally do which is just bending over and taking it.

Oh well CLEARLY that changes everything, now politicians will stop shitting our lives up constantly. It worked for BLM, right?
Rub both your brain cells together for this one. See if you can follow along. I will walk you through it SLOWLY

You said
"They held back, didnt destroy anything, and are still going to be arrested, have their lives destroyed, be labeled as violent traitors to the nation"

I said

"Dipshit (You), they killed a cop"

That means they weren't just peaceful and didn't destroy anything.

This talk of the 25th amendment is really something. They're scared shitless that he's going to run again in 2024 and know he has a good chance of winning.

The people in the US government haven't learned anything in the last 48 hours.
This event pushed the envelope, it made all those months of rioting and unrest in the cities be proven that they amounted to nothing.

The libtard action groups are starting to use the same arguments that tore apart white nationalist groups. This event raised the bar in terms of effective riots and now any libtard action group member who doesn't want to do the same is now not really committed to the cause or a fed. They may have entered their purity spiral,
