Your right, its really a matter of what he said versus what he meant, cuz what I saw and what he said seemed pretty in line, Trump probably just didn't realize it.
Both the Democrats and Trump lost control of their golems. The difference is that the Democrats were completely insulated from the consequences of doing so while Trump pretty much burned his political capital to the ground once he did and it was clear he wasn't willing or even able to go through with it. I think he meant yesterday as a farewell rally after which he would shrug and say there was nothing else he could do and formally consneed. Now he has to do it anyway, but only after having pulled a complete self-own.
It's still depressing when the farms is a far more civil space to talk with others than real life.
