they now know were based on irregularities and fraud, plus corrupt process never received

President Trump had also already scheduled a rally for the day that Congress was
assembled to finalize the election results, set up within walking distance of the Capitol, dubbed
the “Save America Rally.” The title and location of the rally further underscored the President’s
messaging to his supporters that it was their patriotic duty to stop the electoral count.
The Save America Rally commenced at approximately 9:00 AM.31 Shortly before the
President spoke, his attorney Rudy Giuliani reiterated the President’s false claims that the 2020
presidential election was not a “clean election,” and ended by urging the crowd to “have trial by
combat.”32 The President’s son, Donald Trump Jr., also spoke, warning Republican
congressmembers who did not support his father that “we’re coming for you.”33
At approximately 11:57 AM, the President addressed the crowd for over an hour,
concluding at roughly 1:11 PM.34 The President falsely insisted yet again that Democrats had
“stolen” the election, and that his supporters instead should “fight much harder” to “stop the steal”
and “take back our country” at the Capitol.

Anyone you want, but I think right here, we’re going to walk down to the Capitol--And we're going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women and we’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them. Because you'll never take back our country with weakness. You have to show strength and you have to be strong. . . . I've heard about that chat. Someone was saying the feds showed up with an account with an obviously AI generated pfp and were asking who was going to DC for the inauguration. I have never dug deeper than surface level into Q-Anon shit, a big part of that is I've heard from several indie media reporters on the Q beat that if you go too deep you occasionally see them sharing straight up child porn under the guise of "exposing" it or some shit. Seeing a lot of people criticizing trumps decision to distance himself from the "protesters" Just wanted to add a little bit of historical context because A very similar set of circumstance comes to mind

In late 1920s early 1930s Germany the nazi party was rising massively in popularity and Hitler had need of a "physical arm" of the party to break up enemy political events and generally harrass (beat and kill) political rivals. Enter Ernst Röhm, Hitlers long time friend and possible gay lover., he forms the SA which in German means Storm Detachment. So Ernst is an old WW1 wardog and he goes around recruiting THOUSANDS of ex WW1 vets and other unemployed Germans that were sick of how the Weimar Republic was handling the Post war world, not to mention the Great depression

These guys are STUPID effective. Communist political rally happening in your town? Not if the SA has anything to say about it. They would get piss drunk and go start open brawls with their political rivals in the street, then when they were defeated, fighting any local who happened to pass by and then the police that were sent to subdue them. Now before I start going in the Opinion™ let me just say this all hinges on trump not actually being retarted and knowing his history, barring that I'm just forcing a historical analogy that does not belong

I think Trump has been massively disappointed in his fans and wanted to see stuff like what happened at the capital since the election results came out. He believes (possibly correctly) that if the entirety of the republican movement had show some teeth when all the "weird stuff" was happening with the voting instead of just tweeting that he would still be president. So now he is not only pissed but alot more desperate so what does he care throwing his "SA" to the wolves while he focus on his "SS".

I was kind of thinking about this today (as in, what is going on in Trump's mind).

I really just feel like Trump is a rich boomer. And he is. He owns prime real estate, businesses, has money coming in. And the only thing he really hasn't done is run for president. So he did. And why not? He needed no one else's permission or help. He could fund himself, and he did. And he won.

So he's in office, now what? As a (good) business man, he looks around and sees money going to stupid things, like nato, and the Paris climate crap, and so he pulls funding. As far as I can tell, he didn't deploy any (or many) troops, and if there were any concerns from his military generals, he just told them to use drones.

Outside of that, I hadn't paid much attention since I'm not really worried about him changing things that define America (for me) like guns and not having my kids forcibly kissing tranny doctrine or getting vaccinated.

And then the BLM crap... After months of rioting, in some debate someone asked what he thought of BLM and and he acted like he really didn't know, that the only thing he really knew about them was that they were marching around chanting "pigs in a blanket". At this moment, I kind of realized that he was just doing his own thing, especially in the light of how he did very little with the "covid" issue. But I honestly don't care. I don't think he could have done anything better than "nothing at all" as fighting BLM would have had the left really mad and messing with covid shutdowns would have had everyone else mad. It was just kind of lucky that his default position of doing nothing was not a bad choice. (or maybe he is genius and he actually knew that?)

And then the election. Yea.. It is clear that half of the mail in ballots should have been thrown out. I'm sure he thought the courts would handle it. I mean, all they had to say was "follow state law" and that would have cleared things up a lot. But that didn't happen. And then the whole Rudy G and Syndney Powell show... I kept thinking they are either going to make us look really bad or really blow the doors off "why it is important to (closely) follow your state's election laws". But nothing happened. They came out looking like typical incompetent boomers.

Then the 6th. I don't even know how that got started. Seemed like I started hearing about it online like on thedonald or 4chan, and then Trump found out and started promoting it. I have no idea what he thought was the purpose of it or if it was a good idea. He seemed to put minimum effort into it. Set up a stage, play some music, give a not-very-energetic speech and then disappear. Not even sure if he is truly responsible. Of course the left says he is. Apparently the answer to any gathering of any group of right wing people is NO. I thought about going since I'm an unemployed computer scientist but figured I'd just end up getting in trouble. I don't know if I would have went into the capitol, but honestly with the capitol police basically fist bumping people and practically giving guided tours of the inside... it would have seemed rather inviting.. and it was pretty cold outside after all. It certainly would not have looked like terrorist activity in the heat of the moment.

And then Trump goes silent. Gasses up Airforce 1 to go take one last look at his border wall in Texas and then heads back home.

And that is were I pick up thinking about what he is thinking. Does he feel defeated? Or is he wondering what he is going to do once he gets back to his beach house on the 20th? I mean, he has already ran for president, so now what is he going to do? I kind of feel like he is not even interested in politics, or at least not now. And why should he be? Curious if anyone in his family will enter the public sector or not.

Or maybe it is just like how the left paints? That he is a mad man that is bent on... well wait. What is he bent on? Walking on black people (even though there is no evidence that he even cares about race)? Lining his pockets with money (if that was the case, he could have played the president game much more to his advantage), or, or what?

Heck I don't even know.

But I'd vote for him again.

Don't you reckon that counting in for population increases over the course of 8 years is a little bit shaky considering that most of that comes from new births? Also considering that the young adult vote is quite shit in terms of numbers?
