It’s so bizarre to see Republicans who’ve been backing Trump for years now all of a sudden turn on the guy on a dime. I can’t tell if they just wanna distance themselves from him now because his reputation is just that bad at this point or if they always saw the guy as a useful idiot that they were gonna throw to the wolves when it was convenient for them anyways.

The funny thing is around me there are just as many trump flags and signs out now as there were Nov. 3. The elites are turning on him but the people have latched on to him as a symbol of all the anger and frustration with the uniparty. As was said earlier ITT Trump has had the mantle of champion of the working class pushed on him. Unfortunately Trump’s primary goal is looking out for Trump.

This country is ripe for a true populist who cares about the working class. The question is will we get Teddy Roosevelt or Benito Mussolini. The worst case scenario is the elites beating down the people for daring to voice their frustrations. Denying that will cause people to find new ways to make themselves heard. And people with nothing to lose tend to make headlines.

They've always hated him, in particular his unique ability to snatch historic defeats from the jaws of victory. See coronavirus press conferences starring Pence, see Georgia, see almost everything he's attempted domestically. He's finally gone far enough that they can jettison him and I bet they're popping champagne in private.

That "19 dead according to Forbes" number is extremely misleading.
A: It stops at June 8th - barely [edit: two weeks] into the riots.
B: There's debate over what exactly counts as a death due to the Floyd Riots. Wikipedia doesn't count Kenosha as part of them, for example. Even without Kenosha, though, Wikipedia still lists almost 30 deaths on this page.

(And of course, this isn't counting increased murders due to reduced police presence and the general atmosphere of unrest)

A suicide inevitably leaves a certain amount of confusion in its wake. However, in many cases, we can infer that a particular method was chosen in order to communicate a message. In this instance, I see his death as being accusatory. It's as if he's saying: "you're to blame -- you give love a bad name. I play my part, and you play your game." This is only my interpretation, though.
