The most confusing thing in this entire series is how Armin continuously fails upwards. Well that and the Annie Redemption.

I love how no one brings up just how utterly sadistic Annie was back in the first arc. I mean, she literally spun around a cadet so hard by his gear he fucking died. Not to mention to mention all the other fucked up shit she did.

Annie whiplash is one of the funniest points of the series. (see what I did there)

To be fair, I don't regret him not picking Erwin either considering he would've somehow found a way to fuck up even harder than you guys already have.

I actually kind of liked this scene in contrast to everything else. Like Levi finally came to terms with the fact they saved the pussy over his master-daddy and he's okay with it.

Especially considering what an utter trainwreck the last half year of chapters has been, better to close off the series with the apocalypse and leave the conclusion a mystery for the fans. The way this is dragging on the manga is beyond bizarre. Mikasa, Jean, and Connie all lost personal friends and family because of Marley in general and Annie/Bert/Reiner specifically, but now they're suddenly best bros because they all suddenly care about people outside of Paradis who explicitly want them all dead? It's just retarded. The cringevengers make 0 sense. It should have ended with the walls falling, and the audience is intelligent enough to understand what that implies.

Not sure if anyone is watching the anime but the latest episode came out and the same praises as I have said the last times I talked about how the anime is adapting the source material. Wonder how they can cover 39 chapters in 11 episodes. There is going to be a lot of shit on the cutting room floor most definitely.

Been loving season 4 for the most part. The pacing has been great, and the art direction is top notch. They've really given a lot of life and personality into cannon fodder like Udo and Zofia. Though I am concerned about how little anything is actually 'animated'. Loooots of still frames with lip flaps. It's pretty, but it's not very fluid, except where it's rotoscoped. I'm hoping that they took it easy on the Marley backstory episodes to save up all their frames for later on.

I know this is a AOT hate thread practically, but I seriously love this series so frikken much. And I'm an absolute cringy shonen asshole who wants a "happy" Alliance ending with an only half rumbled world, and a tragically dead Eren at the end. Just to let you know pathetic that people like me exist.

I would also like to point out that I voted BIRDS like, five months ago, and I was totally right.

So apparently the director of season 4 locked his twitter account because spergs were harassing him about the soundtrack he used in the last episode. If they're this amped up over something as easily fixed as 15 seconds of music, I can't wait to see what the reaction to Sasha is going to be. Tbf though, the music used in the original episode wasn't that good, and any of the various fan edits I've seen have been dramatically better.
