How will Eren be stopped?

I'm rewatching the old anome episodes and I've realized something about them that is fucking obnoxious.

Anytime something happens, the character (usually the one having the action performed against them) has an internal monologue about what's happening, how its happening, and what the repercussions are.

Reiner is particularily guilty of this. During the entire fight with Eren during the second/third seasons he was comment about how Eren just outplayed him. "Wha...HE HARDENED!?! That means I'm at a disadvantage, this is not good!"

Zeke is guilty of this too during his round two fight with Levi in the manga. When Levi uses the tree branches as cover to his himself from Zeke, he explains Levi's tactics like the reader is a Mongoloid who can't deduce it themselves.

I also like how Armin is held up as a Strategic God when his tactics really boil down to "let's flank em lulz."

This has been a thing in anime since its fucking conception I have no idea why. Doesn't make it any less annoying.

I love it, too. It just shows how fucking retarded everyone else in the series is.

Leaks might be slow this week if there's any at all due to crackdowns, but the new volume came out, or at least it's on reader sites now. He spruced up the fight against the Yeagerists and Eren's flashback which was nice, but the important part was the new page of the spinoff (here's the previous pages if anyone's not familiar)

I can't wait to see how this ends.

New chapter is out.

Gabi theorizes Eren might have the ancient parasite in his body, and Zeke says hello to Armin.

That's it, that's all that happened. Maybe next month's chapter will be more then just filler.
They're gonna rip it out of him and all the titans are going to turn into steam, watch.

The final challenge of the survey corps is to chase down a pig Ymir is directly manipulating, incredible. 2000 years later and she won't let the pig thing go. All the dialogue felt redundant besides Gabi's line and Zeke's but A+ titanfighting though, I don't care about it not advancing the plot as long as the next one does. Also lol at Zeke meekly playing with sand.

So the crinvengers got a sudden buff, since last chapter they got their asses handed to them, but after a couple minute break they are suddenly able to fight all the fucking titans?

Wtf was the meaning of having Falco take them for a ride just to drop them back where they were? I suppose they got a little closer to their objectives, but why the fuck didn't Falco drop them on top of the explosives?

Also the earlier speech by the Marleyan commander got forgotten and they are shooting each other again? If they really started to fight (what happened was really not shown) it's gonna be the genocide ending. The speech + crinvengers arriving was supposed to be the glimpse of hope, and the fact that they started fighting is going to be foreshadowing that "peace was never an option? It's cliché enough for Isayama to think it's kino.

If it turns out Secretary Muller kills Mr. Reinhart and refugees Eldians this means Eren was right and Rumbling will complete. If they lowered weapons and allied then we get peace ending.

This chapter really seems to have riled up /a/. Usually it's just shipping shit, but now everybody has come together to shit on the chapter. Some choice points and shitposts:

I didn't even consider how they now have infinite gas and blades for the 3D manouver gear.

I actually got excited for a moment, because I thought Levi might actually be regretting something for once, but no.

To be fair, I don't regret him not picking Erwin either considering he would've somehow found a way to fuck up even harder than you guys already have.

I don't how he would've done it, but I know he would've.

The most confusing thing in this entire series is how Armin continuously fails upwards. Well that and the Annie Redemption.

I love how no one brings up just how utterly sadistic Annie was back in the first arc. I mean, she literally spun around a cadet so hard by his gear he fucking died. Not to mention all the other fucked up shit she did.
