I went on about this in the TES thread, but this is consequential. Not getting thrown off of twitter or facebook or whatever - at that point, who cares. The payment processing and the fact that AWS owns like 65% of all webhosting services, there's fire there.
And if they had handled it like Google did with Youtube videos, there'd be less of it - "we're changing our ToS, after this date you'll get in trouble for it."
Amazon having an essential monopoly on webhosting remains a separate problem regardless of political whatever.
There's legal wiggle room if the indictment is made while the president is still in office. It will nevertheless probably go to the court - though Trump's choice of lawyers hasn't really been too good.
