Gawd, she is so fucking stupid. Has anyone ever observed that before? Like really dumb on all levels.
This post is a classic example. She never reads a whole book. She struggles through the forward. She had an identical post for the Ghost Doc's book. She waxed rhapsodic over the forward, posting random quotes, and gushing "This book, already!" Then she chucked it before she even made it to chapter one.
No wonder she loves this quote. It suggests that diets are punishment; it even uses the word "punitive" (which I doubt she recognizes as a variant of "punish", but we'll give her the benefit of the doubt just once)
Then there is the dumbness and delusion of how she is reading that quote. In Clotso's case, there are no "years and years of failed dieting" In order to fail something, you have to actually attempt it. In all these years, she has never attempted a diet even once, no matter what she will tell you. Half of the time she announces a diet, she has a plate of raw carrots (with dip of course) to prove the diet, and then within no more than six hours, she is back in line at McDonald's. The rare few times when she has kept a diet up for weeks, it was all a sham and a scam; she herself has admitted to gorging herself off camera and lying to her beloved audience of "friends".
Finally, there is the idiocy of what she hopes to achieve. Intuitive eating, if it even is a thing (I call it hogwash myself), clearly does not work for our fat friend. Her idea of intuitive eating is basically, "I am craving three different kinds of cake. So I will buy three cakes, and have a little sliver of cake today, and then little slivers of cake for the next three months until the cakes are gone" The cakes are never seen again, unless Clotso looks in the toilet after depositing another bowlful of wet shit.
She is attracted to intuitive eating because it is called intuitive eating. The same book, without altering its content, could be renamed "intuitive dieting" and she would hate it.
Meanwhile, as a veteran Chantal watcher, I concur with everyone else who has noted that she has never looked worse in her life, and her mental deterioration is really getting noticeable (thanks to the psychotic mess she lives in). She can read her stupid Forward and quote it all she wants, but she is on the road to nowhere. Godspeed, ya shit-stained blubberhead.
