General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I had heard something about it, but to be frank, I dont quite give a shit about troons and their chimpouts.
At least his spergout was very educative, apparently Vshoujo has a contract that mostly has the same clauses that Hololive, and Zentreya just blowed all of them that day

Ah, sorry. Don't follow Zentreya and never see anything related pop up in my YT or Twitter feeds, so... hard to care. I doubt that it will at all impact viewercounts negatively either, as it is the vastly popular opinion for the rest of Twitter.

That's the only interesting bit. Doubt anything will happen though for the same reason as I just mentioned.

As a hardcore raider, I can tell you it's not new players that upset me. I can work around suboptimal play when I'm expecting it and most of the content that sprouts run is easy enough that a strong player can compensate and adjust. In fact, it's more fun that way because you have to be quick on your feet to adjust when people make mistakes.

The real bane of my existence are players who show up in high-end content who should know better but refuse to fix their shit when called out...
I mean, I'm patient enough with new players myself as long as they don't act entitled, which I've seen a lot of times before. Basically the kind of people who think they shouldn't have to learn mechanics and should just be given what they want for free and with no effort. And then you got the fags on the other side of the fence who will shit on someone who's new but actually trying to learn just because they don't have the experience or knowledge that the rest of the players do. But that's typical MMO dichotomy type shit. You're gonna get one or the other on average more often than not.

I just hope Ina's patient enough to herd cats since most of the EN crew have very poor situational awareness in most games and are incredibly slow on the uptake. Ame would probably learn the fastest, Gura might be about average, and I get the feeling that Calli and Kiara would be nigh lost causes.

But she's still part of Vshoujo with seemingly no repercussions, so it's not like it matters.

I have no idea how Gura's growth is still going as strong as it is. I have nothing against her at all but she's really not all that engaging. Also, her fan interactions of socials like Twitter is pretty barebones. Yet she's almost at two-fucking-million subs, how exactly? According to grifters, that's a lot of pedos!
Have you heard her sing? You could use the way she holds her notes on those Sinatra songs as prescription antidepressants.

She's nice to listen to even just on a purely vocal level, she's a sweetie, she keeps her content level remarkably clean compared to her contemporaries, and even when she does bring up sex topics it's more of a "tee hee"/joke level that avoids crude language rather than hornyposting. So the overall effect is refreshing most of the time.

Vwhores ain't gonna do shit with him, just some slap in the wrist at best. Booting him out for that statement will incur the wrath of "virtouous" people on twittard and i don't think they will have the intergrity to enforce their own rule.

She's intensely comfy but she really needs to find something to stream other than drawing.
Im still sad she abandoned Passpartout, almost everyone in Hololive has do repeated playthroughs like Marine, im expecting her to at least pick something like Stardew valley or Spiritfarer

VSluts sounds better but at least his other comrades even melody shut the fuck up that day, Zentreya was screaming on Twatter all that day and was hilarious

Btw i have been watching Ririsya streams lately because im a sperg and i dont know but i feel she is going to be ascended to the big leagues considering that several Hololives follow her, her last karaoke was amusing, she had to sing quiet songs because her neighbor slam her wall every time she gets too loud and she has a dedicated translator on every stream

In a literal ocean of troons and crazed leftists screeching, shitflinging, and virtue signaling over the incident, I imagine for most of us it's just tiring after a certain point seeing another troon doing the one thing you fully expected them to do in a situation like that.

Which is exactly the reason I stayed off of Twitter for a good two days during the big happening and after. I can get my doses of lunacy, hot takes, doompilling, and, better yet, funny shitposting about the matter here on the Farms instead.

I just used Twitter own tools, silenced every word related to the incident and my timeline was full of weebs and gacha rolls, believe me is more effective than a blockbot

Good for you guys. Everytime I go to twitter it's horrifying react only.

I think if they do grow a pair and actually enforce their rules, that looks like exist because of this retards sperging out. It’ll probably be under the guise of him actually leaving “for health reasons.” Then we just have to wait probably about a week until the next breakdown when he complains about viewership numbers or something else dumb, and he opens his fat mouth on accident. This is the least likely scenario but it’d be pretty funny.

Lol they even canceled D&D with arcadum over this and then tried to pass it off as ironmouse feeling sick. Zen has always been one of the more political of the group at least in outspoken terms. Melody will make an occasional mention and interacts with shoeonhead on twitter so that's weird enough but she does at least seem smart enough to keep her mouth shut as far as explicitly talking about stuff. iirc during the summer chimpouts her commentary was basically "wow lots of stressful stuff happening in America right now".
At least her spergout was very educative, apparently Vshoujo has a contract that mostly has the same clauses that Hololive, and Zentreya just blowed all of them that day
Yeah but it's unlikely there will be any real consequences. Idk what thegunrun was even thinking getting involved with this particular group lol. From my outsider perspective, part of the reason hololive and similar overseas (JP and EN as well) groups make it work well is because they do the auditions THEN they throw the girls on a team with managers etc. Vshojo, with exception of "hime," is exclusively comprised of individuals who were already part of their own group long before vshojo was even thought of. ironmouse, silver and zentreya have been part of a group pre-melody, then froot and nyanners were involved for at least a few months before vshojo. So they might be able to enforce some basic rules like "if you do X you'll forfeit streaming on Y days" or some shit but they're never going to be able to effectively use the threat of removing someone from the team without losing all but one or two of their talent roster. I'm sure Hime and Nyanners would probably stick around in a nuclear scenario but at the end of the day if they try to tell Mel, Silver, Zen, or Ironmouse they're off the team, the others will probably try to leave or torch any signed contract just to show group solidarity.

Even if it weren't for that, they'd probably not want to repeat Hololive's incident with Coco and stir up controversy that just gives the talent themselves more power, like what happened when Coco leveled up. A lot of their audience probably already agrees with whatever stupidity Zen posts along those lines, so as long as the gravy train isn't rocked they'll allow it.

At most they'll probably just have it be a "whatever this person says, is their opinion, and will not be said whether it is or isn't supported", since I've seen that in some Twitters to cover their employers asses.

Like "private opinions" not reflecting anything.

Yeah but it's unlikely there will be any real consequences.
I suppose they let it pass because it was the first time (of several of that day) but really Zen is becoming every day a liability that some day they will have to fix or will fix itself when he molest someone like all pseudo rat kings do

I doubt her senzawa persona had much to do with Gura's initial success. For a while it seemed a lot of people weren't even aware of the connection and those that were often argued about if it really was her. I think it's Gura's hyperactive ADHD chatterbox style. She rarely shuts up, which can be annoying for some but I'd wager is what a lot of people look for in a streamer.

For Ina, she's my third favorite of the EN bunch. She has a really pleasant personality, which makes her streams comfy, but her actual content doesn't always interest me. Cali and Kiara don't really do anything for me. I'm glad the two have finally found success after struggling so long but neither one of them interest me much.
The connection was known from day 1. Gura put a reference to senzawa in the thumbnail of her debut stream, and there were quite a few requests for her to sing senzawa shitposts in the chat. But even so, her continued success comes from building a different (imo better) personality for Gura.

And her karaoke song choice is on point

My point wasn't that it was completely unknown at first but that it wasn't well known (or accepted) enough to be behind her initial skyrocketing popularity.

I love the cheesy Gura stuff, like this and her terrible shark puns. I actually wish Gura and Ina did more together, because those two feel a lot like a fit to me... and also because I really don’t find Amelia fun to watch.
