General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Gooruh just made a last minute change and cancelled today's zatsudan. Also, she tweeted this week's (hilariously typo-filled) schedule that got deleted very fast.

She's intensely comfy but she really needs to find something to stream other than drawing. All the other girls have a hook (Kiara got lucky early on with her KFP and thirsty lesbian schtick) but Ina is just chill. The only game she's really serious enough about to stream is FF14 but that game is notoriously uninteresting to watch other people play.
I think she really just needs to take some risks and try tons of games to see what she likes. Throw spaghetti at the wall. Hell, would you have imagined that she would have marathoned the Titanfall 2 campaign in one session? I certainly didn't, and I think it's one of her better streams.

For her current stuff, Lobotamy Corp is good choice. An off the wall management sim that's SCP themed, A+ for her persona. I also think that Outer Wilds is a game she would dig really hard. I know Ame is playing it, but watching someone experience it themselves is magic as long as chat isn't a bunch of chucklefucks and spoil it for her.

I want her to start a FFXIV company for members, with "Tentacult" as the name and TAKO as the initials.

Monty Python and the holy grail was moved to friday so she is going to do 2 member streams that day, i hope she still has not fixed the problem with membership streams that she can see the chat so i can sneak like the miserable poorfag i am

Oh, snap! The site's back up, and I'm super-late to the party. Howdy, long-time lurker, first-time poster. Probably won't post again, but would really like a link whatever backup site officially gets settled on if KF goes down for good. Also: nigger, faggot, bugman, fuck China, Taiwan's an independent nation, er... idk, jigaboo. Ah, heck! That felt pretty good, maybe I will post again...
How the fuck did I make this a quote... my bad, I guess.

Lol they even canceled D&D with arcadum over this and then tried to pass it off as ironmouse feeling sick.
Mousey cancelled several days in a row and certainly sounded like she was still recovering afterwards, it may have been convienient but she likely was actually sick.

I don't want that. VShojo's already doing that on Cactuar with their Creampies Free Company and it's complete cancer. Friend of mine tells me that CREAMers tend to shit up the already shitty public chat in Limsa Lominsa more often than not.

I doubt Tentacult would be as obnoxious as that, but I think it's best to avoid indulging the parasocial crowd.

Ina's members seem to be the least autistic of the EN's members groups but, still, creating an in-game clan comprised of your simps can only end in frustration and disaster. I think that level of involvement is a step too close and personal towards the real person behind the VTuber.

As much as I love FFXIV, I don't think it's a game that can really be done well with large streamers. Mainly because it's impossible to not be swarmed in that game. FFXIV does NOT handle large groups of people well, and any large streamer is going to be chased by a gaggle of speds and simps non-stop. Hell, Moona streamed it a few times a few months ago, and you can see that even she got chased by people a lot.

As for a fan Free Company, if you're interested in giant drama bombs I guess? Otherwise god no. Free Companies/Guilds built around cults of personality always turn into giant sperg out drama bombs and end up being much more of a liability than they are worth. If you want a really good example of this, check out Asmongold and the various 'Olympus' guilds he made for WoW Classic. There ended up being 9 of them total I think due to roster limits, and it was a giant shit show from beginning to end.

Or people who generally want to shit up some big streamer's stream experience for the shits and giggles of it. I may have done that at least once in the past.

The joys of being a GPB, i think Iofi has the same problem in PSO2

I mean, I'm patient enough with new players myself as long as they don't act entitled, which I've seen a lot of times before. Basically the kind of people who think they shouldn't have to learn mechanics and should just be given what they want for free and with no effort. And then you got the fags on the other side of the fence who will shit on someone who's new but actually trying to learn just because they don't have the experience or knowledge that the rest of the players do. But that's typical MMO dichotomy type shit. You're gonna get one or the other on average more often than not.

I just hope Ina's patient enough to herd cats since most of the EN crew have very poor situational awareness in most games and are incredibly slow on the uptake. Ame would probably learn the fastest, Gura might be about average, and I get the feeling that Calli and Kiara would be nigh lost causes.

But she's still part of Vshoujo with seemingly no repercussions, so it's not like it matters.
That's because Vshojo, for all of its organizing by Justin and mowtendoo, is more of a social club/Mean Girls vtuber cabal and less of a company. There are probably vocaloid asper-groups with more stringent policy enforcement in place.

This worked ok for Miko in GTAO but that was mostly with pathologically polite Jap players. Even modest youtube/twitch personalities deal with a tidal wave of retards when playing pubby, just look at any McElroy or Dunkey or whoever MMO stream. I'd imagine any EN-led guild would be a nightmare, and that she should definitely give it a go.

Pretty much why it doesn't matter how much Zentreya has its histrionic meltdowns. Nobody in the group really gives a fuck, and as long as the troon doesn't start any internal slapfighting, VShojo's going to stay solid as a group.

Takes away a bit of the entertainment value of the spergery when you know it won't have any consequences.
