Now that's a fucking shame, I used to really like Midnight's Edge when they did their editorials but now that they're dipping into the culture war shit, it's been far less enjoyable and more annoying. Not like I care about woke culture or anything, I just find their videos were becoming more about politics than it was about behind the scenes problems in movies. Seeing Quartering's shit eating grin plastered on their thumbnail was essentially the final nail in the coffin for me, really.

I would be disappointed in Midnight's Edge if they weren't already heading in this awful direction. I remember when they would produce high quality analysis videos, but now they seem to only cover Anti-SJW topics, and more specifically, Fandom Menace rhetoric that they know will get clicks.

As for Jeremy, I almost wonder if he's exploring other podcasts to evaluate his "competition". Remember, this podcast by Midnight's Edge he appeared on is in the morning, which would directly compete with his own if he still wanted to convert MidWestly into a morning show. I believe Jer sees the viable audience in the Fandom Menace and wants to tap into it. Because really, it'll be easier for him to scoop up viewers interested in Star Wars outrage than viewers looking for video game livestreams or TCG openings.

Maybe it was the Kathleen Kennedy video performing extremely well, maybe it was Gina Carano choosing a Fandom Menace figure to interview her over him, or maybe it was even the realization that he can never branch out into "evergreen" content. Either way, I think we can expect a lot more Fandom Menace-esque content from him.

Edit: Just compare how Jeremy promoted the Midnight's Edge podcast to his own TISM podcast.

Notice how he includes the name of TISM and the topics they will cover, and how vague he is when it comes to ME. My theory, he doesn't want his own viewers tuning in (and risking any of them jumping ship to ME) and only wants to poach viewers for himself. And just like the Nerdrotic stream from last year, he doesn't even appear to stay for the whole podcast, leaving around the two-hour mark.

Also, I caught a moment where he, once again, ribs on Drunk3P0 for getting the Gina Carano interview, going so far as to call him a "slug". He masks it as playful sarcasm, but if you pay attention to him like we do here, you know it just KILLS him to know he lost out on such a rare opportunity and is being extremely passive-aggressive about it.

I don't even know how he came across this tweet from an Atlanta area paper, apparently it's making the rounds in anti-sjw circles based on the comment section. The significance of the pearls is Kamela Harris was in the AKA sorority where a pearl necklace has special significance to the original founders, so yes Atlanta being in the South and having many historically black universities everyone from AKA (who this tweet was intended for) would have a pearl necklace.

This isn't something I'd expect someone with such a narrow world view to know I'm just amazed at how consistently wrong and uninformed one person can be.

And just a brief reminder, Jeremy's TikTok has remained abandoned since his one and only video uploaded on the 3rd. I guess plans to expand his audience over there have now been scrapped, so the new focus is Instagram now? It's also been almost two weeks since the last video game livestream, and there are no apparent plans for a livestream this weekend.

Again, might seem uninteresting by itself to the uninitiated, but when you put all the pieces together, you see a man desperately trying to cling onto whatever relevancy he has left.

To be fair Carano has always been a porker. She's just lived on by 3 things: people posting weigh in photos, heavily photoshopped magazine shots, and finally people just thinking she's the woman in a picture when she isn't. During her fighting days she walked around at 180-190lbs while competing in the 145lb women's division, which was an absolute wasteland void of talent because most women aren't that big, so Carano would only fight women who competed in the 125-135lb weightclasses and demand they move up to her weightclass. While it may not seem like such a big problem to people who don't follow combat sports what you don't know is that the fighters dehydrate their bodies of upwards of 30lbs of water weight in order to weigh in for their fight 24 hours before it takes place, then they rehydrate all that weight back and come into their 145lb fight weighing vastly over what the limit was. This method of weight cutting has led to fighters literally killing themselves to make weight. When the government started putting in new rules about weight cutting Carano conveniently retired (also after she had her first loss). Your body definition looks amazing with less water weight, your muscles look more defined and tight, but it isn't something you can do for more than a day or two as you're destroying your body to do it and you feel like a zombie.
