More than likely she actually cannot. From what I understand about Japanese culture, she is, on paper, a NEET since self employment and content creation isn't really acknowledged as a viable career in Japan. She can't prove employment with a Youtube membership enabled channel and a Fanbox. This means that if she were to try to rent a place for her own and not say just sleep on Polka's couch while helping her out with rent, she's gonna be rejected by most places she applies for, so she would have to find friends to live with...which she probably would have already done if it were possible.
Now, exploring that avenue raises a huge issue of her accidentally being heard on a stream or vice versa if she were to live with a friend from hololive but it mighr be good for her to talk with her genmates and maybe convince her to sign back on; Cover still owns and has her assets and seem receptive enough to the idea of her coming back, and may even know about the family situation if only vaguely. If she talks with her genmates without them being too pushy and tell her the realities of the job, good and bad, it might get her to say "I'll give it another try." It still has to be her decision at the end of the day though.

Indies break kayfabe on the basis of a fucking reply trend. There was a "Vtuber face reveal" thing going around a few weeks ago in that community and it made no fucking sense. The whole point of the avatar is so we DON'T have to see your face and you can be whatever the fuck you want. Some people have gotten creative with it (I've seen a lava lamp vtuber, done as a way to differentiate from the hundreds of slimes) but at that point you are not you, you are the avatar.

I dont mind those idiots because they rarely debut and when they do they are so boring that abandon the scene in silence in a month, you can make a entire bible of TBD that lasted less than a month i only keep a eye on them to see who mention the farms by name or do something lulzy
First world is really picky, here in Below-Mexico America they dont give a shit or they ask you for a bank balance and your ID to sign the papers and off you go

Vtubers have been bad for my wallet this past year. Aside from Supas, I was looking back at how many games they inspired me to buy:
Animal Crossing (Rushia) -
Maneater (FBK) -
Mario Trilogy (Hayama Marin & Pikamee) -
STEEP (Miko) -
Trials Rising (Botan) - This is the last Ubisoft game I will ever buy, fuck their DLC model for this game.
Assassin’s Creed: London (Korone) -
Cooking Simulator (Korone) -
Castlevania Collection (Korone) -
Pokemon Sword (Chigusa) -
Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (Shion) -
Smash Bros (Aqua) -
Krita (Ina) -
Shephy (Watame) -
Void:Trrlrlm (Watame) - not sure yet.
And if I hadn’t preordered Clubhouse 51, I might have bought that, too, after watching everyone.
Plus they got me to go back and finish GTA V. And to play Yakuza 0, Baba is You, Minecraft and Fire Emblem again - all of which I’d owned and stopped playing. aaaaand to try Apex once.
And I still have several rhythm games they played on wishlists for a sale.
Which, I felt it was worth listing it all out because once I saw how much money they inspired me to spend on games over the course of a year... it is amazing to me that some companies still are refusing to play ball with giving them streaming contracts. And I understand that SOME people have “impulse control” or “good savings habits” or “no job” or “no desire to play games” or whatever and can watch people play a fun game without wanting to buy it... but I suspect many of them have probably at least bought a few of them.

Playing the first one right now, and enjoying it, and will probably get the other games.

In much the same vein we praise Japanese Corps for knowing to keep their talent in line and just entertain, this is very much the negative side of Japanese Corps. They believe firmly that their product has a 'value', and if they are not given direct compensation for the use of their product, they won't allow you to use it. Hence why Cover had to deal with the Holo-caust. Completely agree, it's totally ass-backwards. Japanese Fair use Laws Now!

I feel that a lot of ENVtubers base their whole self-worth on being right. The easiest way to feel right is to support "popular" political topics. Thus, they have no choice but to sperg about politics as they don't have anything else to them.

Watching Botan 3D debut to trigger my uber autism
- Her skirt need a little work when she bows it clips weirdly
- For some reason the modeler thought it would be funny to add a gangimari face, Watame is pleased
- Her jacket looks like a cape probably because is more easier to animate than a full jacket
- The gun room had a AK, riots in Moscow were prevented
- Her sleeves are rigged to her hands so they dont clip or look weird like Marine in Beyond the stage sometimes if she stretch enough you can see her hands out of the sleeves
- The meme of "the ones that don't have a 3D model become a cardboard cut" lives on with YAGOO, now being kidnapped by the special forces of west taiwan
- The guns were clipping and jumping thought all the place after YAGOO was kidnapped, same as when Botan was going to rescue him
- That now loading screen, ETA until someone recreate the map on Counter Strike

I just skimmed the Botan debut. Both her and Polka seem to be leaning fully into their gimmicks. My guess is Lamy is joing to get shitfaced and Supernenechi is going to be a cardboard cutout for half of hers.
As far as the merch is concerned, I like hers the most. Polka's stuff is actually more practical from a JP point of view (a phone charm and a train pass case) but I honestly like having decorative stuff around my room. I might not get the standee but that plush grenade is very tempting.

Anyone correct me if I’m wrong please, but in her latest stream I think she mentioned a friend that she called “sharehouse girl” (Default’s EN translation for the name). So I am not entirely sure if that’s referring to a girl she plans on living with or there is some backstory I missed on why Delu called her that. She talked about having her on stream but would have to ask her first.

You know, I've seen a fair share of girls do that shit for lulz; probably similar to a lot of the faux gaydom of locker rooms or military units actually. As for Noel being taken aback by that. . . one look at her NicoNico streams (which are free on respectable sites like spankbank) would tell me she wasn't 'stunned.'

Anybody else have some pet rrats that they've raised fat on a steady diet of speculation?
Miko had a baby - This is my thinnest, most emaciated rrat born from a mistranslation and fed nothing but sawdust and dreams. I basically just think it would be funny, but it's managed to survive this long just based on her not being able to stream at night.
AO-chan is Mama'nis - This is a goofy rrat, but I think it's grown stronger as hints have revealed AO-chan to not be Ane'nis. AO-chan is a she who Ina can joke about drawing in a swimsuit and know she will never actually do so. She's not a Cover employee or the other ENs would have AO-chans. She's close enough to Ina to be familiar with Ane'nis's drinking antics as when Ina was talking about them, AO-chan commented, "Indeed."
Coco is Enma-chan - This is my fattest rrat. So fat, she has given up onusing her legs for forward movement and now rolls everywhere she goes. Enma-chan has glasses and hairstyle similar to K-son. She is confidant enough to give input on a character design for herself where I think most behind the scenes employees would default to, "Whatever you want to do, Ina, haha." Her L4D gameplay was similar to Coco's in that she barreled ahead, leaving the others to try to match her pace. Again, I don't think a faceless manager X would have the balls to do that and A-chan isn't that aggressive. The biggest recent rrat supplement has been that Coco has started doing an EN style schedule. With a single exception, she's the only JP talent doing one and she's releasing it on twitter like the ENs. Also, after Coco started doing a schedule, the other ENs coincidentally decided to start doing full 7 day schedules instead of whenevs through Sunday.
