Why do you care enough to dedicate an entire day of your life arguing against people who have from my observation proven everything that they accused Len Shaner of doing. Len, to be quite honest, does not seem like a very good person or a stable person.

To be honest, that's kinda the last thing I want to see for Len. I think he's best the way he is right now. There was another instance many months back where another cow got his own subforum and that backfired hard on every front when the content ran completely dry. The reason it works well with ADF is because he just breeds more and more other cows to talk about that it became extremely difficult to confine to just one thread or several threads here on the Lolcow subforum. From what I've seen, Len is his own brand of crazy but hasn't led to finding as many other cows to talk about like ADF did. I just wanted to explain my position on this issue.

Marijan Siklic or Holden is a great example of a nutcase who managed to have a thread that went up to 1000 pages and then he got a second one without needing any subforum.

As cool as a subforum would be, I agree with this.
Shaner does have a decent online presence, but only in a very specific niche. Plus, his batshit crazy is primarily limited to his online affairs. We mostly just have stories and little actual antics a la CWC with his current behavior and his constant need to not shut the fuck up about himself.

Better safe than sorry. Better have a waterfall thread over a dessert subforum.

There's also the matter of moderators being able to have the most control over the quality of posts. What happened in the other situation is that the quality of the posts became worse than what they already were when this cow just had an individual thread and it was a nightmare for the mods to keep up with and try to control. It became an autonomous containment board almost separate from the rest of the website in posting standards where everyone gave up and realized how bad it had become and where everyone else hated it and wanted it gone because of the massive sperging in it. I'm sure most members who have been here for at least a few months will know who I'm talking about, but I'm speaking to the newbies here specifically and wanted to give them an understanding of why a subforum for Shaner wouldn't be a good idea at all based on the past. I want to get back to rustling Len's jimmies but I needed to get these points across.

Because only one person would ever bother to defend Len Shaner, and that's Len Shaner. As an aside, I'm actually somewhat struck by how much he reminds me of a far more idiotic Robert Stanek, that author who made like 600 sockpuppets and talked to himself to upsell his books. At least Stanek was aiming for a goal that benefitted him; scamming money out of people with his shit books. Len here is actually losing things every time he posts. He's losing in such a way that we're all winning by laughter.
