I don't remember the time, but I actually caught the Artemis thing live; opened the stream randomly while on mobile and saw it happen so I stayed. Honestly I don't give a damn about the knock-off Gura, but I will say that it was nice to see Kiara point out that the message didn't have words. I'd also point out, I found Kiara's reaction a bit jarring. Like, she is usually really over the top, or full on hearts and rainbows for SCs and Reds especially (not knocking her for it, just her schtick). . . but with that one it was dispassionate and kind of dismissive. Might not seem like a big deal normally, but again, for Kiara it kind of stuck out to me. Just my two cents.

Say what you will about the content, but I do think she (Keeki) genuinely enjoys this medium and the community she's in, and she's sunk a lot into Idol culture and this new gig. I wouldn't be surprised seeing the sham-shark's antics and attempts at fast-tracking a career came across as insulting. I know I'd be put off.

People like this baffle me. People do whatever the fuck they want and can be judged on an individual basis. However, the damning thing isn't about Artemis watching the bootleg BTS stream on Twitch, it's that she was watching it when she could have clearly afforded a ticket for the show. From what I recall, that stream was done for the benefit of broke people who wanted to watch it but couldn't afford it. Everyone else who had bought their way in was watching it through official channels.
Technically yes but no nudity. She's done risque photoshoots and was a professional cosplayer. The people hating keeki are jackasses who live in the past. As we've mentioned before, Keeki is currently at the top of a slippery slope but has yet to fall down it. She's doing fine for herself right now but I know some people here doompost about Keeki getting closer to having an emotional breakdown because she had a few like over 5 years ago when she was a dumbfuck kid who didn't know much about the industry she was entering and blueballed some guy who thought he could fuck her if he paid her way to get to Japan.
This is probably why Keeki and Karen are such good friends; as I mentioned before, Keeki has a very similar lived in experience as Karen did, right down to similar ages when it happened. Thing is she came out of it knowing better while Karen is still kind of living in her self-imposed hell. This can also just be explained by their mentalities going into hololive and what to expect. Keeki paces herself as Kiara pretty well while Karen stretches herself thin as both Calli and Dice. Keeki had also given up on her dream of getting a full-time career in Japanese entertainment and was ready to go home and settle into an office job if hololive hadn't invited her, while Karen was still trying to make her rapper dream come true while living in a fucking closet somewhere in a bad neighborhood of Japan.
There's a difference between respect and worship. As much as I sperg over Karen, it's more out of respect for what she's been able to achieve in such a short time as well as the untapped talent she's had on display for years before getting some well-deserved exposure and I feel happy for her because of that. The worshippers are the ones who really get it wrong, and if I found out that Karen is actually a shitty person then I'd lose that respect for her and just quietly stop watching her content as opposed to having a full meltdown like some of these jackasses do when they realize their favorite idol makes mistakes or can be terrible just like the rest of humanity.
But hey, they're called idols for a reason, right?
People are reading way too much into this. Kiara has probably the best fan engagement of everyone in the EN group (which is why the KFP is a fucking cult) so chances of her actually knowing what Artemis does or is aside from maybe a secondhand endorsement from Calli are very slim. Pretty sure anyone who says something kind to her will get a response from her, that girl lives on Twitter as much as any indie.
Fucking bitch couldn't even have the common courtesy to come up with a name for herself that isn't just the masculine version of her own name. If you're gonna declare something like this, why not give yourself a name that isn't the laziest fucking thing possible? Name yourself Carter or something, I dunno.
I still don't really get this mentality, and I know people who are actively transitioning. You can't just "say" you're whatever the fuck you think you are, put your money where your fucking mouth is and start taking hormones.

Listening to it myself, I respect Kiara a bit more for suddenly recognize what she have to do; treat him/her like just another person and don't make anything special out of it. She seems uncomfortable and stunned for a bit but figured a respond very fast. Power of experience I guess.
You keep saying this line or similar, but I think Keeki and Dice experience with Japan is very different. Keeki was shit over with her dream and have to give up, struggle and face a lot of shit just to live in Japan - targeted by pedo and got recorded being sexually harassed to name a few. Dice while also realize her image of Japan is quite different from reality, manage to carve a name for herself in three or so year, surrounded by like-minded friend and coworkers. Unless you know some heavy stuff happened to Dice that I don't know, I think you romanticized Dice struggle too much.

How it actually was is that Keeki had it far worse but Karen was not really mentally prepared for the realities of her situation. I don't feel like I'm romanticizing her situation all that much, but more or less I'm using her cathartic outlets as evidence of her mental state regarding it. Karen also had it rough when in school (to the point where she blocked out memories of her school days) but my statement is more that they were both disillusioned by the dream of working to make it big in Japan and may have bonded over that. Kiara had been through the wringer and in her own words, was pretty hopeless and done with it all. Karen was still a bit of an idealist but if you look back at her Dice twitter you can say she does experience regret in coming over since her living situation wasn't the best. Karen was in the process of redefining her dream since I'm pretty sure she didn't expect to blow up and was just fine with working with people she knew and liked (even if she did experience a bit of a watershed moment when she realized AO wasn't really into her) and Keeki had her dreams beaten out of her.
Basically they were both broken in a way and managed to find ways to fix one another. The degree of "broken" is a pointless pissing contest.

Since we already on the topic, let me ask this. Why are you so sure that she has a thing for AO? It could literally be any other person she direct her song to even if she did idolize AO before coming to Japan. Was it from old twitter interaction or was it a Demondice circle rrat?
