Definitely an upgrade from the previous model and actually know how to apply eyeliner like an adult. I assume they actually have a job as well so bonus points for being a functional adult.

Meh, no. People sperging about paganism are the least likeable people I can think of. I prefer my religious people to be Christian, Muslim or even Hindu.

I didn't see the link before, it's actually an academic paper lol. Since I'm writing my dissertation at the moment, I thought I look at it... but got bored. What I've found out so far is that they didn't watch every channel (surprise!), but just used an algorithm to label the channels to a certain category. While it isn't bad (I think we can all agree on that Vaush and Cocktrappoints are far-left, whereas people like Murdoch Murdoch are far-right), this paper just proves that you can't use algorithms or any other tool to classify videos. If they genuinely would have wanted to find out what channels are far right and what channels aren't, they should have watched each channel separately and judge the channel by the video content, not video titles, channel names and video labels.

Some classifcations were just hilarious:

Far left: Actually mostly fair, just AronRa and Jeff Holiday are for me left and not far left.

Left: feminist frequency - Yes, Anita, you've heard right. straight white male AronRA is more a radical than you :story:

Otherwise, I think the classification is mostly fair.

Center: Again, it's actually quite fair. I'm genuinely surprised that King Crocoduck, Justin Murphy, Eric Weinstein, Noel Plum, Larry King, Nuance Bro, Joe Rogan University, Rationality Rules, PSA SItch were clasisfied as center. Many other "academic papers" would have put people like Nuance Bro, Justin Murphy or Joe Rogan as Nazi adjacent.

Right: Not much to complain about. It's hilarious that Diamond and Silk are put into the same category as catholic sperg Tom Woods :lit:

Far Right: Well, this is the funniest part. Not only did they try to grab any potential right wing channel they can find (there are more channels in the far right category than in the far left, left and center category together), the clasisfication is just so off here.

Ben Shapiro is far right, whereas Tom Woods and our favourite black liberatarian "Fascism ain't so bad" That Guy T are considered only right wing.

Bloggingheads.tv is far right, guys. Seeing two older black guys bickering about woke people is just so outside the overtone window.

Mike Nayna? He's a mixed-race guy who is politically identical to King Crocoduck. Yet King Crocoduck was clasisfied as center.

I remember when that paper first surfaced. Breadtube had a big laugh, because nearly every center left channel got sorted into the far-right category. Lefty-channels that had just one video that was critical of far left crazyness got the same treatment.
