im only here to set the record straight.
1) I never said I was going to kill myself because of this forum. I vented on my personal blog, saying I didnt like being called or implied I was fat. I am in recovery and I said I was in a spiral. for which you guys are not responsible for, only I am responsible for my mental health. I vented, but whatever.
2) I don't particularly want to go into details about my practice here, but I think someone asked how I could be a welsh druid. which is a good question, my country was brutalised by the english. we get taught the remaining of welsh history in school and the University I attended has an archive of welsh history, or whatever wasn't burned. I also went to the national library of Wales, where you can access lots of books on welsh history. the Holy grail is also housed there, fun fact. there are libraries all over North Wales pertaining to welsh history. if you ever find yourself here, take a look. its fascinating. a lot of welsh history is passed down by word of mouth. the rest I fill in the gaps with standard herbalism.
3) I am not an "ethot".
4) I would appreciate if you would refrain from speculating about my marriage on here, but for the record, I love my husband and he loves me. we're very happy.
5) I am not, nor have I ever been, amegaotaku. its frankly absurd that you seem to think I am a 35 year old weirdo who has been harassing users for 7 years (allegedly). @fuzzyrodent85 i see you have conveniently left out the multiple posts with my explanations about the drama. its also amusing you don't seem to think amegaotaku is predatory. in my opinion, she is. she harasses minors as well as adults and encourages people to kill themselves. yes, i had a breakdown after days of harassment, but that wasn't the only cause. I wouldn't kill myself over a singular user on tumblr, I wouldn't give her the pleasure of that. I was dealing with some other shit at the time.

a message exchange between me and my friend a few days ago where I sent them the theory I was amegaotaku from this, saying that they blocked amegaotakus IP address. I don't use a VPN, can you get them for mobile?

here are other posts where I've explained the situation. there are other blogs who track her activity which will show amegaotaku is on multiple platforms and some of her posts date waaaay back, before I'd ever heard of this nonsense.

an ask i answered just today.

in response to another of her sockpuppets. you'll note that the fake accounts rarely change tone or typing style.

please note that i encouraged this individual to go to police and use the evidence i had. why would I do that if I was the perpetrator? I would only be incriminating myself.

there are witches like that, I follow several. I am not the first to admit witchblr has it's faults. many use it as a rulebook but it's less of an instruction manual and more of a place for community. it used to be that, anyway.

For me, I think genuine polytheistic worship is far more important than the practice of witchcraft if a pagan revival can have any real weight behind it.

Witchcraft was generally frowned on by the actual pagan societies of the Greeks, Romans, and Germanics. Most of the witchcraft stuff is derived from either Wicca or Thelema, which are both firmly from 20th Century Britain.

true. I think learning about culture is more important for a revival.

the Romans were definitely anti witchcraft. they murdered my people for being druids. I wasn't aware of the Greek and germanic attitudes towards it.

I think a lot of people conflate witchcraft with God worship, which isn't the case. I actually spoke to a hellenic polytheist on tumblr who didn't practice, which I found pretty cool, considering many pagans are witches.

To be fair with the notion of painting with period blood, there are some previous posts up-thread showing some witches doing just that. There's even an actual full-blown canvas shown with depicting a person or a scene (I can't remember which) of which the entirety of the 'paint' is nothing but menstrual blood in shades of reds, browns, and blacks. These people believe it to hold some sort of potent magic and think that mixing it in with everything makes spells work better.

It's why it's sort of a meme in this thread, there is a sizable subset of witches out there that are that obsessed with it.

See the little "Quote" thing in the bottom right corner? Click that and it will change from + to -. That means a post has been added to your multi-quote. Then you can go to the bottom, click on "Insert quotes" and they'll all be in the post and you can add comments.
