General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

I think I have seen this mentioned here once, but I would like to see a vtuber come up with a 3 faces of Foley type of situation for their character. I do not mean like squealing, shrieking "Mommy", and having a rat (but, if they do it justice, why not?), but rather having that kind of character type. The closest I have seen (but still quite far away) would be Haachama, but I would argue that the creation of Haachama ch. was quite circumstantial, even if Akai Haato's roommate wanted to change her character.

I get what you mean and it has been explored lightly, with Akaai Haato - Haachama, Fubuki also has Kurokami that you don't see too often.
 
Do Holostars have more lenient rules on needing/requesting permission to play games? I see them playing Monster Hunter Rise, but as far as I know, all Monster Hunter World Hololive streams are still private.

It was already explained but the more blatant one is him simping for hololive because he want to be in there, Artemis is just a way to fill his CV and simping is just his way to weasel his way up

Artemis's biggest sin was having a really nice design and rig, a hype train a mile long and then proceeding to be the most boring, low-effort garbage possible. Pulled out MSPaint to track info, went back to the gag with Minesweeper, pregnant pause after revealing she hated gamers for a big reaction that fizzled out into the audience just being kinda confused.

Bao debuted shortly afterwards with a full PPT presentation and planning and blew me away with the leap in quality and enthusiasm over Artemis. I told my friend, "That lazy shit Artemis could have done any one of the things Bao did and probably avoided some of the hate." Then Koopa popped in with some similarities to Artemis's shtick cept enjoying what she was doing and actually trying to be entertaining to anyone.

It's particularly focusing on a VTuber called Laprio Arcaena, who currently sits on about 3000 followers on Twitter. Went digging through her server and managed to find quite a juicy story on some Hitomi Kurisu style move that she did. Quite scummy honestly.

So basically, through my digging, I was able to find that she was initially involved with quite a friendly guy called ThatWeeb, who is currently an Admin at the Holoslaves server, but at the time, wasn't. He basically was the one to set up her Discord for her, played games with her, even set up her first few streams alongside moderating her debut stream. Then, the guy has to disappear for a week to help out a friend of his, in relation to mental health. He's then removed from a moderation position within her server and she basically blocks him from contact. Then she gets involved with the cancer-fest that is the Boorjwazee clique, and starts spewing shit behind his back, saying he was "transphobic and imposing on her". The thing is, he never even said anything of the sort, in either her server or Holoslaves. Word on the street is that she was one of the Boorjwazee Witch Hunt ringleaders as well. (Basically, the Boorjwazee Witch Hunted and tried to cancel multiple VTuber fans on Twitter, including the aforementioned ThatWeeb.) (His Twit Handle from what i recall is @That_Weeb24) This shit took me multiple days to put together and piece together, so there is chance that im missing some of it, but thats what i can gather. She isnt even the first rat within Artemis's circle. Word is that they're quite the band of scumbags. The crab is another one I believe, but she since made an apology, and I believe one of them is plenty transphobic, but im gathering information on that currently, so i will be back with information on that one once i have gathered it.
