Only one of these pisses off Uncle Sam.

Bob will never ever understand why Leftists hate him even seconds before he gets lined up against the wall.
Imagine him shouting some praise for the cause before he gets a 7.62 x 39 mm lobotomy.
Bob continues to show that his intelligence is sub-optimal.
Yet he hinges so much of his world view on being intelligent. It's obviously a cope for his lack of physical ability because...well just look at him. He's mentioned before how he wishes intelligence would be the default factor of masculinity or some such thing in the "superior future" but he doesn't get that his intellect wouldn't get any love or respect in that world either based on his body of work.

That's a very Star Trek TNG attitude- I wonder if he's been made aware that there are literally zero obese people in that show

I'm gonna feel dirty for saying this, but I might side with Bob when it comes to cinemas.
Granted this comes with a huge fucking asterisk since I assume Bob is thinking of big multiplex chain theatres that squat all over the country and I'm referring to two specific kinds of theatres.
The first are second run theatres where in exchange for screening a movie 3-4 months after release ticket prices are no more then $3. They were great for the movies you where kind of interested in but didn't want to shill out 20 bucks just for a ticket and they were really convenient for families that didn't have a lot of money for a night out. Sadly most were on the way out even before rona hit so you can guess what state their in.
Second are more regional chains and I don't know how common this is in other places so this might be a PL that were starting to experiment with other ways to stay afloat without ticket or snack sales. I know a few that started doing things like midnight screenings of old movies, partnering with local restaurants and breweries to get decent food and drinks and a slightly cheaper price, etc. But most have shut down while most want to reopen, it's anyone's guess if they will be able to.

Now if you excuse me I have to go wash myself for the feeling of slightly agree with movieblob

omg yes, the trademarked run-on sentences from the Big Picture are nuts. It's the same thing I used to do back in Middle school when I didn't understand that the comma and semicolon were not infinite resources.
Or even the full stop. Bob needs to learn that making one sentence about five different things doesn't make you look smart.
It's a classic method of attempting to look or sound smarter than you actually are. Dumb people think that using big words and elaborate writing styles makes them sound intelligent, but all it does is make it impossible for anyone to understand them. If you want to convey information, use as few words as possible, and keep the structure simple. TDSers harped on about how Trump apparently speaks at a 5th grade level, without understanding that in doing so, he was able to get his point across to broad swaths of the population very easily.
I'm no fan of Trump but he's right there.

If you can't explain something in words the man in the street would understand, you don't understand that thing.
Perfect summation. Although, would it be beneath Bob to potentially pull out the "I am on the spectrum" or "I may be on the spectrum" card to deflect criticism in the future? One of these days, a Lefty Blue Checkmark or a spank bank babe of his will come along and smack him back down as hard or even harder than Lindsay did and he may not be able to shrug it off.
I don't think that would save him given that he hasn't mentioned his atsimu elsewhere and he doesn't have the shame needed to admit that he was wrong.
I mean, i have an advantage because "propaganda" means "advertisement" in Spanish
Does it? I thought ”anuncio” meant ”advertisement”.
There's very little compelling reason to give someone else, ally or not, nuclear weapons and missiles. Why spread them around when we have ours?

Add to that the not-unreasonable concern that a South Korean missile program might be vulnerable to North Koreans, in the same way Britain shared the development of Chobham armor with the US with the understanding the Germans would not be in on the secret.
I wasn't suggesting giving South Korea nukes, I was saying that we shouldn't discourage them from building their own rockets given it deters the North from attacking and means they have to rely on the West less.
I believe "propaganda" used to be a neutral term, meaning public relations or even public information. Abuse naturally shifted the perception of the word to "official information that cannot be trusted."
It came from an institution in the Catholic Church - the Propaganda Fide, which got renamed the Commission for the Evangelisation of Peoples after Vatican II.
Why is this creature going along with the anti-capitalist idiots if he's the very definition of blind consumerist?
And why is he babbling about alt-right propaganda when he himself gobbles propaganda like the average-sized meals he shoves down the septic tank he calls his stomach?
Because his waifus say those things and he thinks that if he parrots his waifus he'll be recognised by them and immediately gain a harem of boyfriend-free girls.
If I had to guess, something about CIA meddling in mostly peaceful regimes. Not that I'm any big fan of the CIA, but conveniently ignoring the fact that every time a power from the other hemisphere has been allowed to set up shop on this hemisphere, battleships and nukes were not far behind. Trying to parse it into a sane opinion without any calls for death and brutality would break his brain.
I'm not the sort of guy who loves Pinochet although I'm not averse to jokes about free helicopter rides, but it's hard not to defend the glowies installing him and toppling Allende when you know that:
1) Allende wasn't installed with a majority of the popular vote and conservative parties (the National Party and the Christian Democrats) got a majority of the popular vote in the 1973 elections.
2) Vuscovic (Allende's minister of finance) devalued the escudo and caused hyperinflation, so wages were falling in real terms under Allende.
3) Allende was taking advice from Castro and there was a fear that Chile might go red, especially given that the communist takeover of Cuba was fresh in people's minds.
Imagine him shouting some praise for the cause before he gets a 7.62 x 39 mm lobotomy.
Given how some Russians in the gulags acted he wouldn't be the first to do that.
”Long live the Revolution!”

”One more disloyal pig bites the dust.”

Yep, both mean "Advertisement", but most people use "anuncio" rather than "propaganda" for the run off the mill ads, to the point that people associate "propaganda" with the more political side of the definition like election pamphlets and the like

Plus, if i'm not mistaken Pinochet was also backed by a big chunk of the political parties and the population as long as he got rid of the commies. Pretty much like fascist dictators got instated in Europe before WWII. When commies start getting out of hand the fascist begin to sound really nice, even if they will bite you in the ass later on.

To a point yes. Once you start getting into the more crazy science specialisms you ain't describing shit in a way a man on the street will get no matter how well you understand it. But then yes Bob ain't discussing new advances in quantum mechanics is he.

Makes sense.

Definitely. Lots of people forget that one of the main reasons Hitler rose to power was because ordinary Germans were scared of communism as they'd seen what had happened in Russia and remembered the Spartacus uprising. It's also worth remembering that by 1929 liberal democracy in Weimar wasn't going to survive and was either going to end up with a restoration of the Kaiser, Nazi rule or communism.
To a point yes. Once you start getting into the more crazy science specialisms you ain't describing shit in a way a man on the street will get no matter how well you understand it. But then yes Bob ain't discussing new advances in quantum mechanics is he.
That's true, but Bobert has no excuse for not being able to explain films simply.

Yes, exactly. The history of US relations with it's direct neighbors is the perfect tool to show that Chip has no idea what he really believes in besides shipping people he doesn't like to gulags. Going all the way back to Teddy, Spain, Cuba, and Manila, it all requires a level of perspective and nuance that is completely beyond him. Even if you could get him to read, he would give up trying to track the real motivations of governments and just blame it all on the mayo.

I mean, there's nothing INHERENTLY wrong with being nostalgic for theaters and hoping they don't go the way of the dodo. I'm not really into it, but that's just how some people like to watch movies. But for Bob, there are two problems.

A.) He has zero perspective, and seems to think the primary problem with the country being shut down is that he can't consoom Marvel.
2.) He's a massive fucking hypocrite. (Massive in every sense, fucking only in the metaphorical sense.) He wants the obsolete redneck farmers to get out of the way of his superya fyucha (because his modest amount of McDonald's just magically appears in the bag). But he thinks theaters, who were ALREADY on life support due to a combination of high prices, bad service, and competition from streaming, to be propped up by the government for no other reason than that we would personally be sad if they shut down.

Not to mention that the people who call Pinochet an example of US imperialism are curiously silent about Castro being an example of Soviet imperialism.

Don't forget his claims that having cinemas close would cost 6 gorillion jobs for the working classes and service is the one true industry that props up those obsolete farmers.

How does Bob consistently have the most retarded takes on every situation?

1.- Except for the fact that this was a part of the Constitution of 1925 and Alessandri also needed ratification from the legislative branch. The 73 elections the rightwing groups won only 8 congresman and only 5 senators, hardly a majority and one of the causes of the extreme polarization in the country
2.- Chile´s economy were more serious than the hyperinflation. Hell, Pinochet broke the country two times in 78 and 82 and there where more poors in 89 than in the 12th of september 1973. Also you are missing a little fact called the cia backed and payed truckers strike of 72 who paralyzed the country.
3.- Good to know you are repeating Nixon and Kissinger speech about the red sandwich.

This is a moviebob tier take.
Pinochet was backed by the DC and the rightwing parties. It wasnt a national clamor to remove Allende it was a coup backed by the cia, and supported by legit facists.

Nooo, you clearly don't understand. We put him on t-shirts in front of a rainbow, that makes it okay.

Like i said, if i was not mistaken, and i am. It's been quite long since i watched those documentaries on the rise of Pinochet, so i'm rusty on the subject.

This isn't uniquely true of commies, this is just about everyone born too early to be bullied into acceptance over Twitter. Personally, I've just accepted that queerphobia is a cultural thing and anyone in history, even people I like, should usually be expected to be bigoted in some way. I'm not gonna stop reading a book because I find out that the author was a bigot if it was at a time where their bigotry was the norm. If they're progressive, great, but I can't fault them for believing what they're taught.

1) the Christian Democrats and the National Party were both conservative parties and together they got more than 50% of the vote. Explain to me how it's democratic for a socialist to be installed when the majority of the country voted for conservatives?
2) ”Pinochet did a bad thing” doesn't excuse Allende doing that thing. That's whataboutery.
3) I'm quoting Wikipedia which says that Allende had taken advice from Castro on how to run his economy.

Wandavision. Bobby thinks Disney would waste money on "high-end color theories" when they can splurge on child prostitutes.

"It's the same 'trick' for B&W shooting in general, we just don't have color reference photos from before color photos... existed, basically, for comparison."
Except we basically do:
addams family.jpg

Above is from the 1960's Addams Family TV show. You can see the colors are completely different from what you would expect just seeing it in black & white.

I know Bob said "from before color photos... existed" but why should that matter? The point is we do have photo examples of how old black & white TV sets were colored so the Wandavision photos aren't anything particularly special like Bob is making them out to be ("WOW"). The way Bob's talking it's as if he thinks we one day invented color photos/film and everyone switched overnight so no color images of black & white film sets even exist.
