Over 70% of icu patients were fatties.
To be fair, the counter argument is that 70% of Americans are fatties (literally 3/4 of the country is either overweight or obese by BMI), so even though I agree wholeheartedly that being obese puts you at greater risk, there's a chance that it's just the makeup of the country at this point.

A big problem in the UK is the nhs. Every winter it gets fucked over. The fat prick in charge of the country has had all summed and autumn to prepare, but instead chose to spunk away money on contracts to his buddies. The nhs goes to shit every winter, it has for years and there are a wide range of reasons for it I wont bore you with. But it's a thing.

Factor in that people have rammed o the elbees last few months. I am the only person in my social group from school who has either stayed the same weight or lost some. Rest have put on a substantial amount.

Went to the grocery the other day with a friend of mine who has gone a bit nutty during this whole thing. He wears plastic gloves shopping, but then doesn't take them off or change them? Like, okay so if he's touched something icky he's just going to spread it around even if it doesn't touch his hand skin?
I prefer my method of using hand sanitizer every so often, especially if I'm touching a number of items. Probably not much better but I like to think it is, just so I can feel superior.

Everyone should probably stock up on vitamin D, sanitizer, kleenex, etc as soon as possible. I have a feeling about things.
Can't remember if I mentioned it in the thread but I've been going to hospital appointments during the pandemic and one time there was a women in the waiting room wearing a mask and gloves, and she kept pulling the mask down to take bites of a sandwich without taking the gloves off.

Did she at least keep her hands on the wrap? More importantly, did you stay long enough to see if she realized she fucked up? :story:

This is exacerbated by gyms closing and people having spent the last ten months pigging, binging, gorging and stuffing.
Am I the only one who's lost a great deal of weight in this pandemic (at least in the farms)? That's without making an effort to cut down meals.

I guess home cooking does make a difference. The amount I've done has gone up since the coof happened. Is everyone ordering delivery instead?

Maybe there's something to Amerifat food. America made me fat when I was there and I lost it when I left. It was like holiday pounds except more.

Portion sizes maybe? I know if you compare a large fry now to a large fry 30 years ago, it's a radical uptick even after removing the super size options.

Also since while I have your attention, insert easy "Marshall Attack" joke here.

There wasn't even a wrap, she was holding the bread with the dirty gloves and I don't think it occurred to her at all. Hope she enjoys her MRSA.

I stayed the same weight at first, but I'm now underweight by a fair chunk. Part of it is lack of hunger. I'm just now really a lot of the time. The other part is knowing how much of a risk factor being even modestly overweight is. This whole fuckshow has taken so much from me too that I am fucked if I'm going to let my body wind up a bloated eldritch horror as well. I dont want to get so fat I have to buy bigger more expensive clothes, and life is short, wht would I waste it clothes shopping?

But no, you're not, and I do think you're right about home cooking too.

It makes some difference, but it depends on what you cook. It also depends how big a portion you eat. I'm eating a lot of take away food at the moment - got a lot of contract work on so not much time to cook - but I'm not gaining weight because one portion of chicken chow mein from my local chinese place lasts me two days. Unfortunately I'm not losing weight either, because I'm a sedentary fuck.

so when you get home you wash your hands and disinfect all the items as well? change clothes? in a secure enough way it's not another vector? what about the bag? or your car? before and after?

don't get me wrong, everybody's responsible for his or her own protection, and measures should definitely be taken - but if the virus would want to eat our lungs it would've done so by now, simply because lot of people "think" they're "preventing the spread" but still half-ass or ignore measures out of convenience or stupidity.

again, not aimed at you, it's just something I already noticed a year ago. it's the same thing that made people screech about MUH TESTS (and then what?) or masks, completely missing how they work in the first place, thinking it makes 100% immune till everybody had hammered in they don't work that way, only leading to karens screeching at you from the other side of the road to wear one for their protection.
I wash my hands when I get home and if I'm feeling especially paranoid I spray a lil' cloud of disinfectant in the direction of my stuff.
I have a fairly functional immune system and I've already had Covid once, in October. (not fun) I just act like I do when it's normal flu season except now I wear a cloth mask in the shops.
I know I'm not killing or preventing the spread of every single germ. #toolazyforthat
Still gonna mock the ones that put no more effort into it than I do but act like they're saving the world.

American restaurant food is full-fat, sugar and salt and the portions are HUGE. It's easy to see why so many of us are big.
I've gained about 10 pounds over the past year. Pretty sure it's a combination of giving in to comfort eating because of stress, and buying candy in bulk on Amazon. These things must stop.

Biden Picks Transgender Who Encouraged Covid-Safe Orgies As Assistant Health Secretary

Levine made headlines last month after her department issued guidance for Pennsylvania orgy enthusiasts who wish to remain COVID-safe while engaging in group sex. The PA official also drew criticism for pulling her mother out of a nursing home after issuing a state-wide order forcing them to accept COVID patients.
This is where we are now. In hell. Already.

One thing I've noticed is the girls I know who have done professional modeling are really starting to speak out against the lockdowns, Great Reset, election fraud, sex trafficking, and destruction of free speech by big tech, even a few who were pretty far left not that long ago.

The normie girls are worshipping the government and ratting on everyone who "doesn't listen" though.
Maybe those women know that lots of young men hate this shit, and endear themselves to those audiences by speaking out? Like Indigo White going on the Killstream a year ago. All of this shit is the logical extreme of "Zero risk" boomerism, and we all know who the biggest risk-takers are. I can see how a pretty woman who's used to being the life of the party all the time would hate being cooped up as well, especially when she's likely losing much of the prime of her life to this nonsense.

Why Hardly Anyone Trusts The Virus 'Experts'

Authored by John Rubino via DollarCollapse.com,
Early in the pandemic, “trust the science!” could actually be used in a debate without attracting derisive laughter. But as the flip-flops, mistakes and, yes, lies have accumulated, a consensus seems to be forming that the health care authorities are no more trustworthy than the people running Congress or the Fed.
For proof, let’s start with vitamin D, which sure seems to lessen the severity of coronavirus infections. As the chart below illustrates (couldn’t find the source, but google “covid vitamin D” and you’ll find lots of studies that track with this data), people with higher levels of vitamin D in their bloodstream tend to experience covid-19 as a non-event while people low levels found the infection life-threatening.

There are obvious questions about causality here, so calling vitamin D a “cure” is going way too far. But if it has even a marginal effect – and the data suggest considerably more — a rational government would, you’d think, be handing out vitamin D like Halloween candy. In fact, since we’re mandating/prohibiting all kinds of other behaviors, we might expect vitamin D consumption to be required along with masks and social distancing.
Even covid-czar Anthony Fauci recently said:
“If you are deficient in vitamin D, that does have an impact on your susceptibility to infection. So I would not mind recommending — and I do it myself — taking vitamin D supplements.”
So why aren’t family-sized bottles of vitamin D arriving in the mail from the CDC? A cynic might wonder if the fact that Big Pharma doesn’t make much money from cheap, widely available supplements plays a role in the government’s apparent lack of interest.
Now about those lockdowns. Tom Woods has been producing charts that appear to show virtually no difference in virus outcomes between US states with aggressive lockdown policies and those without. California, for instance, has shuttered most of its small businesses and imposed widespread curfews, while Florida hasn’t. Here’s the result:

This is a huge part of why legal mandates rather than advisories are a terrible idea. Especially when they claim them as magic bullets.

Nobody actually has a good sense of how much they fuck up the "prevent the spread" measures. Early on when I thought this might actually be a deadly disease I was going out more, and in doing so I tried to just keep track of my hands and my face. I applied every autistic iota of myself to being conscious what I was touching and so forth, and found that not only did I need like 5 pairs of gloves for an average errand run, but actually doing things with your hands in the right order is not easy to remember to do.

Start inside the car, put on the gloves and mask, exit car, do shopping, but when I get back to the car I face a conundrum: I've been using these gloves to touch everything...and now I need to unlock the car. I found that I had to at minimum remove one of these gloves for this, as no matter what you do, you're dealing with the shopping haul which is contaminated. The question then becomes what else do you plan to treat as contaminated? Contaminate the keys, then you need to keep one glove on just to manipulate the keys in the ignition before taking the glove off. Contaminate the door outside and you need to keep that in mind as you load your shopping and for subsequent stops. How are you taking the gloves off, are you pinching the outside of the glove and pulling, or grabbing the base of the glove (thus potentially contacting skin underneath)? Is the hand that is doing this gloved and contaminated, or not? That will change how you need to remove the glove.

This is to name just a few of things I thought about in the early days only with regards to the actual errand running, and then all this gets fucked to pieces if there's more than one person in the household because nobody does things the same way. :story:

And this is just some idiot with barely any knowledge and no training on safety procedures for dealing with highly infectious diseases, thinking about a couple parts of my body, and even trying my hardest I'd usually fuck up the order on at least one stop because humans are creatures of habit. I guarantee you that 90% of the people you see out shopping spent more time thinking about things other than their hands and their mask because of course they do, they should.

It's just fucking insane and yet we continue.

Stop having fun guys being personafied? I fear for humanities future.
That what Germany deserves and gets for electing a commie and former resident of the DDR. The fucking ossies are a liability and should not be allowed go run for public office. Anyone educated by the DDR and raised in that state should never be trusted. I dont mean the oldies who grew up before it or those born in for.er east Germany, I specifically mean those born and educated behind the wall.

Look at the fuckong hack that cunt has caused. She is a goddamn liability.

Me and my family got into a big argument about lockdowns over dinner. Apparently my coof-positive grandad had the audacity to mask up and take everybody’s bins out instead of staying indoors like a good leper and that’s selfish because he’ll kill all the babies on the street with the coof. Also apparently my sister’s entire friend group got really mad at her. Turns out the fun thing she did was go to her boyfriend’s house. What if her boyfriend caught the coof at his factory job and then gave it to her and then she gave it to her dad and then her dad killed all the grannies in the retirement home?!

The kicker? HER DAD HAS HAD THE COOF ALREADY AND GOTTEN OVER IT

Also my sister was apparently joking when she said she’d snitch on her to the police and she’d never actually do that. Seemed pretty fucking unironic at the time though. Maybe I’m just a massive sperg that couldn’t read the room properly but the whole thing reeked of “I was just pretending to be retarded”.

Cue me trying to be the voice of reason and all 3 of my family members engaging in every argument in the doomer playbook and then some. Highlights include:

”it took 4 days for my boyfriends grandad to die, imagine struggling to breathe on a ventilator for 4 days!”

“you wouldn’t want Nan and Grandad to die would you?”

”it’s not the government’s job to care about your mental health, it‘s their job to stop everyone from dying!”

“their generation went to war for us, why can’t we go to war for them?”

”we won’t be stuck inside forever! they lifted some of the restrictions in the summer, remember?”

”if everyone went outside the young people would all gain herd immunity but all the old people would start dropping like flies and then we’d be there with 50% of the population dead asking ourselves if it was worth it!”

”Even if you go outside to prove you can’t be tamed or whatever you’ll get COVID and then you’ll change your tune!”

My mom seems to think the solution to my grievances with the society I have found myself in is to watch TV with them in the living room or take my government allotted hour of exercise with a leisurely stroll in the park round the block from my house. With my sister. She always makes me go out with her. She’s freakishly tall for a woman despite being 3 years younger than me so my mom thinks she’d be able to defend my scrawny ass if we got mugged or something. But I can’t help but get a bad feeling that now it’s because she thinks I’ll run off...

I’m 22, I don’t need a bodyguard. I need to get out of here. And properly - none of this 23/1 suburban supermax bullshit.

”it’s not the government’s job to care about your mental health, it‘s their job to stop everyone from dying!”
So if you become suicidal and then go through with killing yourself does that mean that the government failed you? Actually wouldn't it mean that the government is responsible for it?

”if everyone went outside the young people would all gain herd immunity but all the old people would start dropping like flies and then we’d be there with 50% of the population dead asking ourselves if it was worth it!”
Your family members who said this should be put in concentration camps.

It couldn't possibly be because the rules are so confusing that the general public don't even know what is and isn't allowed anymore and it couldn't possibly be because the police are doing fuck all to keep people indoors.

Doesn't help that politicians themselves keep flouting the rules (like Dominic Cummings) so most of the British public have about as much trust in them as Americans have in Kamala Harris.
Cummings was not a politician, never has been. He was an "advisor". The fat spastic in charge (who, it was revealed in the news today cant make it through the day without a little nappy poos, poor diddums).

You know in lord of the rings theres that King whose bitch ass is owned by an advisor who whispers bullshit into his ears all the time? That's boris Johnson. A fucking retard, who is too goddamn stupid to understand basic science he is in thrall to people like whitty and balance, both of whom own substantial numbers of shares in Pfizer but noooooo, obviously that doesn't make them unreliable or anything!!!

This is why anyone who calls table tennis "whiffwhaff" or who thinks a zip wire is a method of transport befitting a statesman should just be banned.
