You're probably right, I only have secondhand shit to go off of with some stuff but I do know there are a few talent who got into hololive not really treating it like a full-fledged career. Suisei's dreams are to be an idol no matter the cost, and if hololive is giving her what she wants then she'll stick.

If the photos I've seen of Subaru are really her (I'm pretty sure it is her since I saw her in a pre-Holo karaoke contest video), she's the prince archetype--the handsome girl. She doesn't use the 2D tomboy model as much anymore, since maybe she is trying to get in touch with her feminine side. I think what you're talking about when it comes to picking fights with team captains is the 助番 (sukeban) archetype--the leader of a gang of delinquent girls...

...which, holy crap, would be kind of awesome as a Hololive addition.

Crunchyroll, the Western anime cabal, you name it. Bastards are like a kraken with tendrils getting into everything. Something tells me, though, that Gura's a bit more on the up-and-up after her Senzawa fanbase became one big giant unflushable turd.

It was believed for a while that Subaru is ymd♣︎ゆきりぃやまる. You can check the twitter since it link to her personal twitter account but I won't post it here cos Yamada also post photo of her child there. Anyway, the age doesn't add up because Yamada has a long and consistent career and Subaru would have been a high-schooler then.

Another lead is Vtuber Mecchababumi since the voice kinda match. But Mecchababumi debut only a few day before Subaru, so it doesn't make sense she would debut as indie while she's about to become a Hololive member. Current narrative is that Meccha is Subaru older sister irl.
