Biden from everything he has proposed on the campaign trail, plus his track record makes me resort to this type of logic. On top of the man has been in some form of political power over that time frame, and has contributed to some very destructive legislative decisions. That is just my perspective, but I can respect your difference in opinion.

Only a few hundred thousand people watching the various streams and absolutely nobody in DC. Nobody really does. Not even the Democrats.

Oh god. Kamala Harris is now the First Woman, African AND Asian Vice President. All those diversity blocks. Because that's what is important apparently.

The National guardsmen have no ammo, no magazines, and no honest way to fight back should a violent insurrection occur, but them defending a position was never the plan. They're a show of force.

The National Mall is completely barricaded off with barriers, triple strand concertina wire, and dudes with empty guns that still hurt like a bitch if you buttstroke someone.

No one is getting anywhere near the capitol. Even if someone managed to break through the barricades, they would still have to run a mile to get to the steps, all surrounded by FBI sharpshooters on the roofs of the Smithsonian buildings and helicopter overwatch.

But what about the side streets leading up to the capitol? That's where you place the armored vehicles and most of the troops.

But what if I use a sniper rifle? Unless you're actual Chris Kyle (who is dead btw), or any of the other 11 people with a confirmed kill at over 1760 yards (a mile), STFU and go back to Call of Duty, you're not shooting that far. Most of those shooters were perched on a goddamn mountain to begin with.

A lot of people keep saying he'll babble on or say something stupid, but honestly they've probably practiced this to Hell and back to make sure nothing goes wrong. Most amusing thing anyone can hope for is that some gentleman gamer dressed up as Joker causes some mild harmless drama before getting his skull caved in by the more insanely hostile than usual security which is looking pretty totalitarian to be frank and all for a guy who supposedly got the most votes in history.
