I'm expecting the dismissal to be fully upheld with extreme prejudice because 2020 has taught me that nothing good ever happens anymore and that the Woke Left always wins. Evil always prevails in the end.
But if there's any reversals at all, even if it's just Monica and Ron who get dragged back in, that'd be satisfying enough and KV would likely start coping and seething.
If 2021 throws us an unexpected curveball of good news (which it won't) and we get Funimation brought back in on appeals as well, then I think the story would have a happy ending.
Sadly, I still think Marchi will get away with it even in the downright impossible best-case scenarios.

Hopefully if Funimation lose on appeals, they'll let her go because they will finally see her as a liability. Her behavior since 2015 during the Prison School Gamergate incident soured Funimation's reputation in the anime community and it kept slowly getting worse until the final nail in the coffin with what happened to Vic.

I agree, regardless of the outcome Funi is becoming as synonymous with trash as IGN. Fitting, and not a moment too soon considering the WOKE spergs coming after Animu now and of late since western "entertainment" got ideologically fucked years ago and people ran away.

How any rational fan can support a company like Funimation when the people there clearly hate them and even take sick pleasure degrading them in public is something I'll never understand. At least Bang Zoom and Viz Media don't do that (as far as I know). It's like WCW fans supporting WCW in its dying days - loser fans supporting a loser product.
Also, at this point, anyone should not be surprised that Sean Schemmel is a walking vagina.

The fact remains, by the CDC's own numbers, there are very few actual deaths from the KungFlu. Last I checked somewhere around 12,000. The rest have co-morbitities of one or several kinds. Most of the deaths, the co-morbidity was the primary cause with the Rona nailing the coffin closed.
Even with the 400K that everyone wants to sling about, there is something like a .003% death rate among infected individuals. I think one of the most insidious cases that was added to the tally was the NYC dude that got hit by a bus but was found to have nCOV 2019. Thus he was counted as a COVID death.
Even with the conflation of numbers, they're only able to count 400K deaths out of hundreds of millions of cases.
TL;DR COVID is virulent but not especially deadly. And yes, if you're in poor health, the CDC will gladly add you to their stats to bolster the illusion.

Differences between what happened to Haberkorn and what happened to Vic are the following:
1. Todd was not fired by Funimation (or any other dubbing company) due to Pridemore's accusations.
2. Todd was not disinvited en mass by the majority of conventions on his 2019 schedule.
3. Despite snakes like Adam Sheehan, Monica Rial, and Chris Sabat screwing with him, Todd still has his career.

Not that I believe Pridewhore, nor do I want Todd Haberkorn to get the boot... But it's absolutely insane to me that they destroyed Vic over really stupid, fallacious shit and Todd escaped relatively unscathed, despite being accused of something much much worse.
Add to that DC Douglas filming himself in a woman's restroom and Ron's established crimes against women and it's not hard to see that these people did this to Vic out of spite and nothing more.

The reasons for this are that Todd got representation almost immediately and Vic's lawyers were already threatening lawsuits. Had Vic not fought back or Todd didn't seek legal counsel, he would've gotten similar treatment to Vic. Do not believe otherwise.
