You know, I think in the end all negative language is just too problematic to keep using. They should switch to something less offensive, such as negating positive words. I think "ungood" would be a good place to start.

They'd get pissed at that too. They are incapable of not complaining about language.

I think that's a Baltimore thing. That's the only place I've heard that. They also call the black part of town "Yo Town."

Considering we were around Baltimore, that would explain it. I didn't know it was only a Baltimore thing. I feel kind of like I did when I found out that most other places in the US don't serve snowballs in the summer.

So being where I'm from and seeing somebody say it's an acceptable insult was kind of horrifying for me.

Pretty soon "problematic" is the only negative adjective we're allowed to use.

"This coffee is too.... problematic."
"Why?"
"Because it is problematic!"
"Do tell."
"The coffee is great but I just wish it is less...problematic."
"Sorry, I don't understand. All our beans are organic, sustainable fair trade, not to mention free-range. All steps in the processing are done by women and transwomen. Not a single drop is contaminated by the Patriarchy. Can you tell me why it is problematic?"
"I mean... the coffee... I can't drink it now until it is less.... problematic!"
"Relax honey. This is a safe space, you are free to express your feelings here."
"I mean the coffee is -- pardon my slur -- too hot!"
"Too hot?! Hot is the word to describe women who are body-positive and secure about their sexuality. How dare you claim something is 'too hot'?! What kind of slutshaming, misogynistic, sex-negative scum are you?! Should I cover myself with a burqa now, huh?!"

For someone who claims to want to do away with gender roles, she sure as hell wants to impose them on others.

I can understand posts like this, but I swear, these people -must- be fun of parties. Around the holidays, these fucking people are buzzkills.

By the way, the person I got this from is the friend that journeytofin follows.

All three of those commenters are American, calling it right now.

I believe one of them is.

Am I the only one squinting my eyes at the last dank meme listed? Canada also helped kick the shit out of Germany TWICE in both world wars, and they were actually a country at that point too.

Yeah, I saw that meme and I was pretty skeptic about it. But feels over reals for SJWs!

^ That actually makes sense to me? Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but it sounds like they're saying that although feminism started as a movement to make women equal to men, it has changed over the years and isn't like that anymore, and that women don't need to be feminists if they don't want to be. (Especially considering how awfully some feminists treat non-feminist women.)

IDEK it's 4 in the morning and I'm half asleep so who knows.

That's how I read it too. Like, if women today are able to choose what they wanna do and say, then I should also be able to say ''I'm not feminist'' too. Maybe few years before it would be different, but today and in future it's not something I wanna be associated with. And I certainly don't need 17-year-old little dipshit telling me how to label myself, even my own mother didn't do that shit.

What happened to judging people based on their actions and their character? Oh wait. This is Tumblr we speak off.
