I'd say A is just his style of comedy, like it or not and B is just that Rand is the perfect example of the people he's talking about. I don't believe he has any desire to run his own name through the mud so that people have the ability to yell nigger whenever they want. Hinging the ability to say nigger as proof of free speech is the most retarded thing ever, and a complete reduction of the entire freedom of speech argument.

There are still people who don't have the ability to discuss ways of living, or to criticise the ruling class, but idiots want to be able to compare literal political persecution on whether or not they have the ability to yell nigger in a crowded theater. I think he just has an intense dislike for the people that are all for freedom of speech and expression, then crack down on cuties. After reading about the pearl-clutching that happened with the book "lolita" and how the book itself is ultimately anti-pedo, I have come to suspect the same thing has happened with cuties.

I'm still not going to watch it though.

The filmmaker says the point was to be against the exploitation of children. The problem becomes to show that exploitation, actual child actors were put in those situations with disregard for how being underage and sexualized in a film could effect them long term. That footage is out there for the rest of their lives. Words on a page involves no actual child participation. One could argue about Lolita's merits and was it worth it for days so I won't go there. But the same problem comes up with the adaptations of the Lolita films. Could the same point have come across if the actresses were 18 and looked young instead of 14? And what does having that kind of role do to someone that age? It wasn't just the images people were angry about with Cuties, but concern for the child actors.

I just have to point out that the loli/Cuties argument, at it's inception was not about "cracking down" or banning those things, but about the fact that the people who enjoy depictions of child sexuality are most likely pedophiles (or well on their way to becoming pedophiles), and that Dax's defense of those people and their preferred artforms would be like a scarlet letter on his "career" for years to come. The only reason the argument shifted to legalities is because Dax deliberately shifted them that way because lolbert arguments are 1/3 of his grift. He essentially derailed the whole thing to make it something he believed he could defend himself against (unsuccessfully, I might add.) And the best part? Since his loli meltdown, it always comes up whenever he has an argument about freeze peach on a forum that he doesn't control. His letter was officially scarletted, and he's too busy eternally missing the point to realize it or take any steps to correct it.

Dick can't support his "Free speach" ideals because of the people he attracts.

The kiwifarms is open for anyone and has a very open view on Freespeach, you can yell nigger or kike as much as you wan't, and yet there is a surprising lack of people just yelling racial abuse all the time. That's because Kiwifarms and Null doesn't attract, or try to attract/appeal to those type of people.

With Dick it's the opposite.
He started his career being antagonistic and edgy with "Men are better than woman".
Now had he actually been funny and a comedian he would have managed to build his image up as a bit of edgy comedian. But as Dick doesn't have a funny bone in his body so all he could do was to be edgy and antagonizing. Something that is painfully obvious when you read his tweets now a days.
The result is he drew in other people who are edgy and antagonizing. And you know what's really antagonizing? Yelling Nigger in a crowded theater.

And it didn't help that he started associating With Ralph, who's entire audience at this point can't laugh at a joke unless the punchline is Nigger.
So if Dick was to create something that was really freespeach it would be full of those kind of guys, because that's his audience.
And because of that he can't monetise it and therefore he doesn't bother.
And he tries to censure those people as much as he can because he is afraid to loose his patreon.
