Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Maybe it's the wine talking, I've seen some commentators say this is CCP's push to destabilizing the US to the point it reduces it to a third world country, thereby they can push for a the yuan to become the main currency of exchange, and subsequently become the new Superpower. I mean if I was in the CCP I'd be overjoyed at whats happening right now, US inflation should be in space right now, we have Chinese spies near major elected officials and the Presidents son.

The likelihood of that happening is minimal. China is more clever than that.

Trying to make the yuan the global standard is a fools errand. It would take decades long depression to decimate the U.S economy to a third world. The U.S economy will most likely recover within a couple years. The dollar is too entrenched and too many major corporations/wall street would fight to the death to ensure supremacy.

No, China is going with controlling infrastructure. Thats what the belt and road initiative is. The U.S can keep the dollar standard, but ALL global trade and commerce would run through China.

It's not like China hasn't suffered economically from Covid. If the CCP is celebrating about anything: it's about sidestepping responsiblity for a global epidemic...
