Guys, maybe the reason that Cynthia doesn't wear a bra is because when Wogglebug grew to be 50ft tall and started breathing fire, he accidentally burned her only one.

You're here forever Cynthia.

Also, really? My case management software says that you were served by our contractor on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 1:33 PM. Either they didn't do what we paid them to, in which case we at Nintendo will also sue them, or, more likely, you're lying. Ignoring process is going to lead to a lot of problems for you, Cynthia. I'm all prepared for the court date!
God damn you, Picklechu. I posted a surprised Pikachu-face image in a thread on KF and he sued me for copyright infringement. Those nip-lawyers tore me asunder and I now have to pay off court costs and a hefty fine for using their IP. If only I had known beforehand that Japanese copyright law is this fucking strict.
Are you happy now?!

Cynthia, speaking from experiance, you're honestly better off moving on from all of this. The wogglebug is a dead end project and all it's gotten you is ridicule.

Personal passions don't always make good mass media. Rarely ever. To make something good you have to be conscious of how the Industry works and no mass media project that I know of was made by a singular entity.

You're setting yourself up to fail, and once I realized that I was in the middle of a zero sum game a number of years ago, that is, making no advancements, having no fun, and getting socially rejected in an admittedly niche community, I quit.

And it's been the best last few years I've experienced for a while.

When you're in a dead end situation you either keep going making minimal gains, which is utterly futile, or you realize you're not making any gains and refocus to something else.

You can still make wogglebug stuff, just make it for yourself.

But I think you're just on track to be more and more miserable.

And just for the record, I have never received any paperwork from Picklechu.

I have checked the mail every single day from December and onward.

But I don't open the door to strangers, per my mom's wishes.

And I am not retarded.
:story:

Also guys, I know women should wear bras and it is common sense and all that, but Cynthia is mentally ill. I don't know why some people expect her to act like a normal 30 something woman, because... yeah.

Claiming that you didn't receive legal paperwork isn't a valid defense, Cynthia, otherwise all people would just do like you apparently did and hide indoors until the scary process server leaves.

I wonder if Fiverr advertises attorneys...? *yawn*

Anyway, I hear the weather in Guantanamo is super nice year-round, so you have that to look forward to.

Really, I don't have the papers with me due to not receiving them. If you really are a a lawyer send them again.

People giving you very basic, easy to follow advice on how to dress more professionally/appropriately, and you instead focusing on whatever dumb/gay shit this is about is proof positive that you are a retard.

Haha and of course my advice as an artist was ignored as well.

Nothing told to her will be heeded, clearly. I have actually had some experience with this, in that I know a person who never does anything unless she's prompted several times, such as cleaning her room, (She requires assistance for this, I grant you.) but she dismisses advice and doesn't heed any warnings regarding her health because it's too much of a bother.

Fair to her, her brain is like a Celeron computer from the early 00s trying to run the software for windows 10. she can't multitask at all.

But the thing I'm trying to say, if it's inconvenient, it won't be done. that seems to be the mentality here.
Because my advice, while it is totally grounded in reality, it requires too much self-reflection and difficult decisions.
Acknowledging the bra thing requires acknowledging it.

Ergo, she just ignores it and focuses on the little thorn in her side which could potentially cause her legal trouble.

I wonder if she'll listen to our advice if they're presented like this:

That's not how that works Cynthia. Lawyers won't keep sending you the papers because "you didn't get them". If that was the case then nothing would ever get done because anybody could say they never got the papers. The entire legal world would grind to a halt because lawyers would simply be spending every single hour of every day sending a resending papers.

My suggestion is to secure legal representation because there's no way you'd be able to argue this in court and Nintendo will eat you alive.

Well, to clarify that. Lawyers will contact you again, but they won't resend the first letter. Assumption is that you receive mail within 3 business days, then they give you a certain amount of time to react (can be 2 weeks can be a month or two, depends on the legal trouble you're in and what laws apply).
However, when you do not comply within that time, the next time they contact you, the least bit of trouble you can expect is them hitting you with a "handling fee" for putting in the extra work so to speak. Since we're talking lawyers that shit can get expensive before litigation even enters the picture.

In my case, I could narrowly avoid the handling fee, despite reacting too late (well, looking up Japanese copyright laws takes time and I thought I was protected by German law, but nope, free trade deal took that away, thanks Brussels!)... anyway. Look for the letter, maybe it's under the porch? Maybe it arrived at your neighbors?

I don't have a porch.

I have spoken with four people (including one who has an aunt who is a lawyer) who really think Picklechu is not in fact a real lawyer and they gave me good reasons to believe so. But I can still get legal advice and questions answered for a low price from people offering it on Fiverr, and then if I do need to hire an attorney for myself I can do so with LegalMatch.

Well, do you trust that second and third hand info to help you against a hefty litigation by an international megacorp?

"I'm not retarded, but my mommy won't let me open the door for strangers"-a literal retard.

No one's telling you to wear a bra app the time (the people around you regularly would be thankful though) just to cover your pendulous tits while on camera.
