Yes. A minimum wage that high would be completely unsustainable. But Phil is a lazy retard with a literal child's mind, so complex grown-up concepts like the economy are beyond his comprehension. But since he's considered an adult due to his age he's still allowed to vote, and his vote counts just as much as a doctor's, a police officer's, a college professor's, or someone who is in the military.

A $33 / hour minimum wage equates to $66,000 / year for the standard 2,000 hour working year. For comparison, the personal (not household) median wage in the US was under $50,000 in every state besides Massachusetts ($50,200, so basically rounding error) and DC ($74,340 because many people who live there are senior gov't officials). Even if we somehow set a "household minimum wage", the median income is > $66k/year in only 15 states and can go as low as the mid-$40,000s in parts of the South. Equivalently, well over half of the workforce would have their hours cut or get designated as independent contractors to avoid the extra costs. In poorer states like Alabama that number might be closer to 70-80 percent. We'd have sky-high unemployment and growing income inequality because people making more than $66k/year would not (by definition) be an added burden to their employers.
There are also questions only an idiot potato wouldn't consider like how to adjust for cost of living - $66k/year is enough for a reasonably comfy life in the cities he's lived in but would be enough to live like royalty in somewhere like rural Texas. Even if you do believe in a high federal minimum wage you have to acknowledge that a one-size-fits-all value for the whole country will necessarily be inappropriate somewhere.
